Some people when they visit the site for information specifically on the MegaMan Battle Network series would probably search for a navi without using the .EXE tag (example GutsMan) and be directed to the original Robot Master.

I first propose that we could merge the EXE and orgional character into one page like what has been done to the Met page.

Another solution that would be not as drastic would be to move every robot master to page along the lines of "GutsMan (Robot Master)" and then turn the basic page into a disambiguation page for the robot and the Navi (much like what was done to the Megaman page).

MC Hammer Bro.

Combining the NetNavis and Robot Master would not be good. Although they have many similarities, (as many Navis are based on the robots with the same name), they are 2 different characters with their own story, personality and abilities, and those vary between the games and other media like cartoons and manga.
I don't think there is a need to add a disambiguation to the Robot Masters, as they where created before the NetNavis and there are links to their NetNavi counterpart in their pages, but it could have a "looking for" template in the top like Roll and Wave Man. Mega Man has a disambiguation page because most main characters (classic, X, Volnutt, EXE, Star Force, ...) and games in the series are called Mega Man/Rockman.
The Mets are together because they have many similarities, most varieties (appearing in all series except Legends) have small changes in appearance and behavior, and are minor characters with small role in the series (even marking ones like the bosses and sub-bosses in MM3, 4, 6, IV and ZX, and the giant Mets from anime), like Goombas, Metroids, Octoroks, Castlevania zombies, ... --Quick 20:13, November 29, 2009 (UTC)
Alright, fair enough and your solution makes for a great fix as well. Unless anyone opposes, we'll use the looking for template. MC Hammer Bro.
