Alohaha, named Scissor Island in Mega Man Battle Network 4, known as Shīsā Island (シーサーアイランド Shīsā Airando) in Japan, is a location from the Mega Man Battle Network and Mega Man Star Force series. It is the series' equivalent to Okinawa.

Alohaha is the southernmost island of Electopia and the home of Lilly and Kidd Gruff, being mentioned by them. Its most notable places include the Alohaha Castle and a robust beach.

In Mega Man Battle Network 4, (WindMan being considered a god on the island. The role of the "guardian deity" is taken by the Wizard Strong in Mega Man Star Force 3.

The island is never seen or shown in the game series, only alluded to by Lilly and WindMan.

Mega Man Star Force[]

The island is visited by Geo Stelar and his friends in Mega Man Star Force 3 during a school trip. Alohaha makes use of its island status, and plays on the theme of looking very tropical. To the north of the island is Alohaha Castle, where the king of the island resided before it was made part of Electopia. The castle is now used to house a powerful environmental system which keeps Alohaha in constant summer and protects it from natural disasters. The environmental system is controlled by the Wizard Strong. Jack soon makes Strong into Club Strong using a Noise Card and makes Club Strong fight Mega Man. After the attack on WAZA, the environmental system hosts the mother computer.

  • Its early mention as Scissor Island is a corruption of its Japanese name, which may be named after the Shisa statues of Okinawa in Japan.
  • Alohaha's background music is inspired by traditional Okinawan music, which has an abundance use of the Sanshin instrument.
  • Its English name, Alohaha, is named after the Hawaiian word "aloha." Which means affection, love, peace, compassion and mercy. Since the middle of the 19th century, it also has come to be used as an English greeting to say goodbye and hello.
