Area A (Forest) is the first location in Mega Man ZX. Vent/Aile and Girouette travel here to deliver a package with Biometal Model X to the Guardians, but they are attacked by Mavericks and separated. Vent/Aile stumble across Prairie and some Guardians, saving them from the Maverick Giga Aspis by Megamerging with Model X.

- It is speculated that the Floating Ruins from Mega Man ZX Advent and Area A are the same location, warped by Model W. Furthermore, it could also be the Forest of Dysis from Mega Man Zero 2, as the remains of Hyleg Ourobockle and his Altroid can be seen in the area just before Giga Aspis.
