Arigock G (アリゴック・G Arigokku G ) is an antlion-like enemy from Mega Man 10 that appears in Commando Man's Stage, as well as Strike Man's Stage in Hard Mode.
Description[]
Arigock Gs appear as a red antlion and release projectiles from their "mouths" in a certain pattern of 4. The pattern of 4 is usually 2 short range lobs from left to right then 2 long range lobs from left to right. They cannot move at all, and they usually are inside the quicksand of Commando Man's Stage underneath mines that either Bomb Pottons or Mega Man can destroy. Their main weakness is Commando Bomb, but since the stage they're in is Commando Man's, the second best weapon to use is Triple Blade or Thunder Wool. In the Challenges List in Mega Man 10, they appear in #27, Cannon Ball 1.
Etymology[]
Arigock G's name is derived from "arijigoku", Japanese for antlion larva, which is what the design is also based around.
