Artificial Sun Stage (人工太陽ステージ), also known as Solar Man's Stage[1] and Solar Man Stage,[2] is Solar Man's stage in Mega Man 10, set in an artificial sun that, according to concept art, floats high above a city. The stage strongly uses two central gimmicks, consisting of vertical and horizontal stretches avoiding the fire spewing Changkeys, and conveyor belts that the player can either use for speed or be slowed down by them.
On Easy Mode, many pits and gaps are protected by floating platforms, there are increased amounts of pickup items and fewer enemies are present.
On Hard Mode, the Changkeys appear in larger and harder to avoid areas, strong enemies like the Oshitsu Osarettsu appear on some conveyor belts, along with Searchies altering the conveyor belt direction appearing. Swalloweggs appear on some climbing sections, along with a single Tsurare Stamp before the boss shutter. Pickup items are less generous, and more enemies are present.
