"Scattering Napalm."
―In game Pause Menu, Mega Man Maverick Hunter X
"This napalm travels along the ground, laying a path of fire."
―In-game text, Mega Man Maverick Hunter X

Bang Away Bomb (バンナウェイボム Ban'nawei Bomu) is a Leg-type napalm weapon that Vile obtains by defeating Storm Eagle in Mega Man Maverick Hunter X. When equipped, Vile shoots a stream of rapid-burst, cloudy blue spheres that travel forward. Bang Away Bomb has relatively quick recovery time, considering the duration of the shot and has a lot of range, probably two screens worth or so. The player can start running long before the shot is finished, and run along with it, using it as protection.

Bang Away Bomb is Flame Mammoth's weakness, and X takes a considerable amount of damage from this weapon as well.

Defeating Storm Eagle will Vile not only be rewarded with Bang Away Bomb, but he will also be rewarded with Longshot Gizmo as well.
