Batabattan (バタバッタン) is a grasshopper-like enemy in Mega Man 6. Unlike the Battan in Mega Man 4, they are out to attack Mega Man. Charged shots are easier to hit these enemies with.
Onbuubattan
Onbuubattan (オンブーバッタン) is a upgrade of the Batabattan, and it has a smaller counterpart to jump off of it if the larger is struck or if it hits a barrier. The Tengu Blade destroys it in one hit if close to you.
Trivia
- "Batta" is Japanese for grasshopper.
- "Onbu" means "carry something in one's back" in Japanese.
