Batty, known as Pulse Bat (パルスバット Parusu Batto) in Japan, is a bat virus in Mega Man Battle Network 5. It stays in place on the panel it starts on, occasionally flying upwards to avoid attacks. When it is lowered to the ground, it will shoot out a pulsar attack. If the pulsar hits an object, sound waves bounce off that object and hit all surrounding panels, damaging anyone within those panels. Variants of the virus can either paralyze or confuse the target if the attack lands.

Battle Chips[]
Pulsar, known as Pulse Beam (パルスビーム) in Japan, is the Battle Chip from Batty viruses. It shoots out a pulsar wave identical to the virus that, upon hitting an obstacle like a Rock Cube, will spread out into a paralyzing wave on all surrounding panels. Two Pulsar3 chips and either ShadeManSP or ShadeManDS form the Big Noise (ビッグノイズ) Program Advance.
