A Birdbot, known as Shitapper (シタッパー) in Japan, is like Glyde's version of the Servbots, but while the Servbots are faithful to the Bonne family, the Birdbots have been known to be two-faced toward their master. It's unknown how many Birdbots exist.

In The Misadventures of Tron Bonne, a few Birdbots are often seen with Glyde, and they appear as enemies in some missions. In Shala-Kun Ruins level 2 and 3, they throw bombs and fly in Finkel's direction to hit it. In Sart Farm they pilot machines like Pinguino and Megas Struthos to stop the Bonnes from getting money, and they can be captured to be sold by 500 Zenny each. In the last mission, they appear with Pinguinos and Chorlinos, and normal Birdbots guard prison doors. In the casino, one Birdbot explains the rules of the games.

In Mega Man Legends 2, three Birdbots with different appearance act as commanders to other Birdbots. Their main appearance was as enemies in the attack to Nino Island and protecting Glyde's Base in Calbania Island.

Trivia

  • Their Japanese name, "Shitapper", means "underling". It's mistranslated as "Shitappaer" in the Rockman DASH 2 instruction manuals.
  • There is a Birdbot poster in the ACDC train station from MegaMan Battle Network 2.
  • In The Misadventures of Tron Bonne, if the player stop the conversation in the scene Loath, Glyde and two Birdbots are in the ocean after the defeat of Colossus and wait, the Birdbots will sink.
