- —Blizzard Man, Mega Man & Bass database
Blizzard Man (ブリザードマン Burizādoman) is a snow-themed Robot Master from Mega Man 6. He was originally created to monitor the weather in the Antarctic, but later his meteorological equipment was exchanged for a machine able to produce artificial snow using the humidity in the air, which he can use to attack enemies by creating ice crystals in his Blizzard Attack. He can also attack by rolling at enemies. In the First Annual Robot Tournament, he was reprogrammed by Mr. X to help him conquer the world, but was defeated by Mega Man.
Appearance[]
Blizzard Man is a humanoid with his head being fused with the torso and also has green eyes. He wears an orange hat with a white ball and a yellow area on the front of it, large blue pauldrons with purple vents on each side of them, black arms with blue bracers, a blue part on the bottom of his body, black legs, white poleyns, blue leg armors with yellow bottom area on both sides of each them, and white feet with two purple lining on each of them. Blizzard Man has four green gems on the front of his body, two green gems on the back of his body and two green gems on each of his leg armors.
Personality[]
Although he has both a shady personality and a short temper, Blizzard Man is an expert meteorologist, especially when it comes to snow. In his spare time, he likes skiing and has won three gold medals consecutively in the Robot Olympics, but he tends to not like snowboarding, as he fares poorly at it.
Mega Man 6[]
Blizzard Man is one of the eight Robot Masters, and defeating him rewards the player with Blizzard Attack.
Attack pattern[]
Blizzard Man has two attacks he can use, but when he isn't attacking, he may move around the screen a short distance with his skis, trying to get close to Mega Man and leave him without space to dodge his attacks. He only moves once before doing an attack. His first and primary attack is to use Blizzard Attack, a small maelstrom of 4 snowflakes that are created all over the screen in different formations and shot loosely at Mega Man's position. Once formed, the snowflakes are momentarily suspended in midair until they are launched at Mega Man simultaneously. They can be avoided by sliding out of their way, though sometimes the attack formation may catch Mega Man by surprise. Blizzard Man's second attack is rolling into a ball, completely invincible in this state, so firing weapons at him while he's rolling is useless. Once in a ball form, Blizzard Man does a quick hop in place as a telegraph, before speeding forward. Upon colliding into the wall, he bounces off to land in front of it (landing in the same spot every time) before getting out of ball form. This can either be dodged by jumping over him and running away from the wall he will collide with, or jumping in place while hugging the wall he will collide with.
Weakness[]
Blizzard Man is weak to Flame Blast, and is defeated in 7 hits. Due to the weapon's trajectory, Blizzard Man will have to be hit directly with the arcing shot instead of the floor-erupting flame, as most of Blizzard Man's movement is him rolling in ball form. As with all bosses, Blizzard Man takes 3 damage from a fully-charged buster shot. He also takes 2 damage and knockback from a fully-charged Power Adaptor punch, though it does not affect the fight very much.

Trivia[]
- Blizzard Man makes a cameo appearance in the museum stage from Mega Man 7 (along with seven other Robot Masters) and in the final stages of Mega Man: The Power Battle (with Pharaoh Man, Bubble Man, and Elec Man). The other three Robot Masters from Mega Man: The Power Battle later appeared in Mega Man 2: The Power Fighters, but Blizzard Man did not.
- Blizzard Man was the first ice-themed Robot Master since Ice Man from the first Mega Man game - a difference of five years. Every new game since then except Mega Man 9 has introduced an ice-themed Robot Master.
- Part of Blizzard Man's stage layout appears in the Endless Stage of Mega Man 10.
- Blizzard Man's hat is orange, but it is red in his Mega Man 6 mugshot.
- The four "buttons" on Blizzard Man are also green, but in his Mega Man 6 mugshot, they are orange.
- Blizzard Man is believed to represent Canada. Because of this, it is speculated that he speaks with a Canadian English accent.
- Blizzard Man is the only ice-themed Robot Master whose weapon doesn't freeze or immobilize any enemy, hazard, or Robot Master, but instead will kill any fire-themed enemy instantly (aside from Flame Man, who's weak to Wind Storm instead).
- Tundra Man's Tundra Storm might fall into this category as well, but it's debatable - Tundra Storm freezes nearly any enemy it hits, but the frozen enemies die almost immediately.
