- "Find out what the Mavericks want with the rocket center."
- ―Stage description, Mega Man X8
Booster Forest, known as Booster's Forest (ブースターズ・フォレスト Būsutāzu Foresuto) in Japan, is Bamboo Pandamonium's stage in Mega Man X8. It is an old rocket science research facility, and an illegal dumping mountain,[1] located in mainland China. Therefore, it is also called "Rocket Ruins" (ロケット遺跡 Roketto Iseki).
Description[]

Pandamonium was in charge of the rocket center in Booster Forest, a space research facility in China used before the Jakob Orbital Elevator was built. He was tasked with management of space development research documents. Pandamonium eventually became a Maverick and refused to leave the overgrown ruins of the launch center after its abandonment.[2] Pandamonium instead chose to collect data on the center's rockets for Sigma, his new boss and master.
The stage makes use of Ride Armor, which can be found at several points. With careful timing, the Ride Armor can be brought into the mid-boss room, where either Vile or several waves of Golem Ride Armors appear for a fight. After this, there is an upward segment using elevators - if the player can get their Ride Armor through, they can take an upper route into the next area. Further in is a sequence where the Ride Armor can be placed on an elevator in the background, and if the player can keep up with it, they get to reclaim it later. If done successfully, they can take the Ride Armor into battle against Bamboo Pandamonium - if not, they fight the boss regardless.

After the first mid-boss room, there is a ledge in the top left corner with a capsule and spikes on the side. It can be reached multiple ways, such as Zero's Raikousen, damage boosting, a Prickle Barrier, or the flying Rasetsusen glitch.

Further in the same room, a small tunnel can be found that requires Axl's A-Trans to copy a Spheroid to enter.

Bring a Ride Armor along the upper path by destroying crates blocking a doorway. Use the lift at the end of a conveyor belt to reach more crates to destroy, leading to a seemingly empty ledge. Use a charged Crystal Wall with X to unearth the Rare Metal.

Near the end of the stage, there is an elevator to the background behind a spiked conveyor belt tunnel. The Rare Metal is at the end of the elevator ride; however, it only activates for Ride Armor, and the tunnel is too small for a Hunter to ride one inside. Instead, drop the Ride Armor on the conveyor belt to carry it to the elevator; from here there are multiple options:
