Boufooh (ボーフーウー Bōfūū) is an enemy in Mega Man 7 that appears in Cloud Man's stage and in the first Wily Castle stage. Their behaviour is similar to Matasaburo, but unlike their predecessor from Mega Man 2, they can change the direction of the giant fan on their bodies. Boufoohs are stationary and use may push Mega Man away or pull him toward themselves, either to inflict damage through bodily contact or to force him into a instant death pit.

Etymology[]
Boufooh's name derives from the Japanese word "boufuu", which means windstorm.
