Brain Break (ブレインブレイク Burein Bureiku) is a little robot in Mega Man 6 with a high performance electronic brain and appears in Knight Man's stage and Wily Stage 2. These enemies slightly resemble a normal Met, but their feet are red and on top is a helmet that resembles a graduate's cap. As soon as the player shoots at it with the Mega Buster or any Special Weapon just once, the glasses and graduate's cap go off, and its brain will be damaged, causing it to go on a rampage and chase Mega Man. The player must then shoot it again to destroy it. Blizzard Attack can destroy a Brain Break instantly without having to attack it again. If it is left alone pacing back and forth for awhile after its cap and glasses are shot off, it'll eventually explode.

Brain Break appeared in the Rockman 6 manga, where one informed Centaur Man that Mega Man defeated Knight Man.

- Two Brain Breaks make cameo appearances in Mega Man 7 at the Robot Museum. At the very beginning, the player can see them on some pillars to the left.
