The Colossus, known in Japan (roughly) as the Ancient Idol (古代神像 Kodai Jinzō), is a giant legendary Reaverbot that will give anyone who controls it the power to conquer the world. Acquiring it was Lex Loath's master plan in The Misadventures of Tron Bonne in order to conquer the world with Glyde. To do so, he drove Diggers into debt with his illegal loan business and forced them to pay it off by both locating the Colossus and the Golden Refractor that can awake it. The Colossus' design resembles a 20th century naval warship, appearing largely nautical in nature. It is fully ambulatory, though its upper body is massive compared to its lower body. It may be the largest Reaverbot in existence, as the Gustaff is about 2 meters, and yet stands at about almost half the size of the Colossus's head, making it stand close to or exceeding 60 meters (roughly over 195 feet).

The Colossus is powered by the Golden Refractor on its head and sixteen red Energy Pylons. After the fight against Glyde, it's activated by Loath. The Bonnes attack it with the Gesellschaft via missiles from the skull, but they could not damage the Colossus (because of the shield powered by the pylons). Loath retaliated by shooting lasers causing large damage to the Gesellschaft.

During the game's final battle, the Servbots were able to immobilize the Colossus by removing the energy pylons from it. After this, Glyde and Loath uses the remaining energy to attack with its head, which floats above the body and attack with lasers, firepits, creating shockwaves and can run over the Gustaff. At the end of the fight, the Servbots manage to remove the Golden Refractor, completely deactivating the Colossus and causing it to collapse in the sea. As the Colossus starts to collapse, Loath, Glyde and the Birdbots attempted to escape the scene as the Gesellschaft appears and shot a bomb from the skull directed at the men causing them to fall overboard. Afterwards, a Drache appears to pick up the Gustaff and leaving the scene.

Trivia[]

  • The Colossus's health bar is so large that it extends off of the screen. Only around half of it can be displayed at once.
  • The energy blasts shot from the hands and mouth of the Colossus were probably served as inspiration for the future massive robots built by Tron, most specifically the Marlwolf and Theodore Bruno. It was also used on the skull of the Gesellschaft (replacing the missiles initially used on the Colossus), on a cannon placed on the backside of the Balkon Gerät and on a cannon placed on top of the Bonne's car in the Gemeinschaft.
