Compendium of Rockman X (ロックマン X 大全書 Rokkuman X Daizensho, lit. "Rockman X Encyclopedia") is a 200 page source book from the Mega Man X series. It was published by Futabasha in January 30, 2005 in Japan.
Summary[]
The book mainly covers the first seven games of the series and the two Game Boy games.
- Pages 2–16 contain general information of the series and the main characters: Mega Man X, Zero, Axl and Sigma.
- Pages 17–146 contains information of the nine games, showing their system, story, characters, strategies for bosses and stages, and a few more details like keywords and hints. There are also eight pages dedicated for Mega Man X8 and Mega Man X: Command Mission, four pages for each game, being the only pages with these games.
- Pages 147-188 contain a database from the nine games, having a complete list of Special Weapons, Armor Parts, Ride Armors, Ride Chasers, stage enemies and game secrets.
- Pages 189-199 contain concept art of the first three games with descriptions of them. All the 40 sketches in this section are also present in the gallery of Mega Man X Collection.
