Crabs-K, known as Crab-K (クラブ－K Kurabu-K) in Japan, is a small crab Mechaniloid enemy from Mega Man X8 that only appears in the intro stage, Noah's Park. It is a terminal for Crabs-Y to collect information.[1][2] Their small size allows them to easily slip under normal shots and they attack by running at the player, inflicting damage on contact.
Crabs-Y also releases Crabs-Ks during its second encounter in Noah's Park waterfall area, where they drop items that fill the Attack Gauge when defeated. In Noah's Park Intermission, several Crabs-K have gone berserk and the player must destroy as many of them as possible.
