Cross Fusion Impossible! (クロスフュージョン不能! Kurosufu~yūjon funō!) is the 39th episode of Rockman.EXE Stream. It aired July 2, 2005 in Japan.[1]
Plot[]
Inukai and Beastman attack The Ministry of Science and destroy the Dimensional Generator. Due to the effects of a solar eclipse that day, it is impossible to set up a Dimensional Area from overseas. It was all part of a calculated attack plan. Narcy and Videoman use the time to materialize the virus into a giant form and attack the city, but Netto, who cannot Cross-Fuse, is helpless. At that time, Dr. Wily appears at Maha Ichiban. Wily approaches Maha Jarama and the others with a good idea to counter Neo WWW's evil deeds.[1]
Summary[]
A man fishes at a lake when a large Lark virus emerges from the water. Narcy and Videoman watch from a bridge, pleased to see their experiment is a success. On the news Midorikawa announces a total solar eclipse that afternoon. Dr. Wily, who is pushing his recycling cart through an alley, talks to himself about how the eclipse will precede disaster. At the Car Museum, Netto looks at the Dimensional Generator Cars that were recently put on display. Wily sits outside the museum when a newspaper is dropped at his feet showing off the large Lark. At the Neo WWW base, Tesla instructs Inukai and Narcy to lead their next mission.
At The Ministry of Science, Meijin and other scientists monitor the Dimensional Generators, making sure there’s no abnormalities. Due to the eclipse they’ll be unable to send Dimensional Areas via satellite for the next four hours. Beastman invades The Ministry’s systems, fighting his way through the firewall. Netto leaves the Museum, confused as see people with telescopes. Rockman reminds him it’s the day of the solar eclipse and explains how it works. Meijin calls Netto and tells him about Beastman so Netto makes his way over. Beastman breaks into the firewall’s third level, finding the Dimensional Generator’s core and damaging it. Inukai uses his Dimensional Chip and Beastman uses the last of his energy to destroy the Dimensional Generator before he’s deleted from his injuries. Meijin manages to grab the Dimensional Element before the machines explode. In the city, Videoman creates a giant pink Mettal and unleashes it in the streets.
At Maha Ichiban the original WWW watch the news, angered as they see what Neo WWW is doing. They decide to do something when they realize that Dr Wily is sitting at a booth behind them. Wily declares that they’ll show Neo WWW the wrath of the real WWW. Meanwhile, at The Minestry of Science, Manabe and Kifune explain to Netto that Cross Fusion is temporarily impossible as the satellites used to send Dimensional Areas overseas rely on solar power and with the solar eclipse it’s impossible. Netto tries to run out and fight, but Dekao walks in and stops him, trying to convince him it won’t make a difference. WWW arrives at the Car Museum and takes the Dimensional Converter cars. Narcy tries to celebrate, but Inukai feels as if something isn’t right. As if on cue, Rockman controls two cranes to attack a giant Mettal. Wily uses a Dimensional Element that Maha Jarama had collected and modifies it to work with the cars.
Using the area around them, Netto plugs Rockman into various items and Rockman manipulates the network to attack against the viruses. Despite their efforts, Netto and Rockman still struggle. Just as Netto is about to be attack by more viruses, Tomahawkman and Gutsman arrive use fire hydrants to save him. WWW arrives with the Dimensional Converter cars just in time and Netto is able to Cross Fuse. Netto deletes Videoman which causes the surrounding viruses to disappear. The eclipse ends, angering Tesla that the plan failed. Inukai and Narcy are finally caught and arrested. WWW is proud of their success, cheerfully declaring that WWW is back, but Wily disappears. Afterwards, Netto eats at Maha Ichiban while Maha Jarama, Dekao, and Dingo all declare they’ll do whatever it takes to help Netto and defeat Neo WWW.
