The Crystal Cave is an area in Mega Man Zero 2. It is a crystal-laden cavern located near the New Resistance Base, which was partially uncovered by the crash of the Neo Arcadian aircraft Simurgh B.
Elpizo visited the airship's remains to scavenge an IFF beacon, a device that discerns allies and enemies on a radar, to help his plan to infiltrate Neo Arcadia. Some Resistance soldiers pursued Elpizo to stop him, but they were taken hostage by the Neo Arcadians in the area who had also arrived to stop Elpizo. When Zero explores the area, he fights Sage Harpuia as a boss.
