CutMan Brothers!, known as Strangely Strong! Cutman Brothers! ( ヘンに強いぞ! カットマンブラザーズ! Hen ni Tsuyoizo! Kattoman Burazāzu!) in Japan, is the 38th episode of the MegaMan NT Warrior anime series. In the English dub it was available only on DVD and listed as the 31st episode. It features the debut of the CutMan Brothers and also the Shady salesman.
Synopsis[]
MegaMan thought he'd seen the last of CutMan at the Okuden Dam battle, but didn't know the tough little guy had five brothers--and they want revenge! With their master paper-cutting skills, they render MegaMan helpess in a hidden cyber realm. Then the true evil becomes known: the paper warriors are actually controlled by the Grave agent named ShadowMan! And when Lan loses communication with MegaMan, he asks Chaud and ProtoMan for help. Will they be in time?[1]
Plot[]
The episode starts off with an old film-style scene of MegaMan deleting CutMan in a meadow field. Later, the scene cuts to elder CutMan telling a story to the CutMan Brothers about how the 'evil' MegaMan deleted CutMan represented in a puppet show. Afterwards, CutMan Brothers goes after MegaMan to avenge their older brother.
When CutMan the computer of Lan's alarm clock, Lan was running late to meet his friends at Ku-Chinatown. Meanwhile, Maylu, Dex, Yai and Tory are angry about Lan for being late and decided to go to Ku-Chinatown without him. Lan arrives at Ku-Chinatown by himself and jacks MegaMan into a phone booth to travel to NetCity, however, MegaMan is at a wrong place where he encounters paper cutout enemies and manage to shot them with his Mega Buster.
Meanwhile, Maylu, Dex, Yai and Tory meet a Shady salesman and he invites the quartets to eat ramen noodles at his restaurant. At Shady salesman's, Maylu, Dex Yai and Tory are eating ramen noodles and makes negative comments about the noodles while the Shady salesman continues to serve the quartets the same thing.
MegaMan later encounters the CutMan Brothers on a giant paper cutout of a dragon and attack by it. Meanwhile, Lan meets Chaud at the real Ku-Chinatown, the duos jacks their PET into a computer of noodle-making machine at a nearby factory to fix the machine. Then, as ProtoMan is at NetCity's Ku-Chinatown, he cuts the paper dragon with his Fire Sword, thus the CutMan Brothers fell down from it, then ProtoMan finds ShadowMan and chases him.
While ProtoMan chases and defeats ShadowMan, MegaMan turns into Heat Guts Style MegaMan and defeats the CutMan Brothers. After everything is back to normal, Lan meets Maylu, Dex, Yai and Tory and apologizes to them for being late. The episode ends.
