Mega Man related appearances

Street Fighter X Mega Man

He is one of the eight bosses that appear in Street Fighter X Mega Man. his weakness is the Optic Laser.

  • Yoga Fire (a small fire projectile)
  • Yoga Teleport (a teleport)
  • Yoga Spear (a melee attack where he performs a drill kick)
  • Yoga Mummy (a melee attack where he spins downward while hitting headfirst)
  • (A melee attack where he performs a slide kick)
  • Yoga Inferno (a spread fire attack, throwing multiple fireballs)
  • Double Zoom Punch (a melee attack where he extends and punches with both arms)
  • Super Combo: Yoga Catastrophe (a slow moving fire projectile)

Dhalsim mainly attacks with Yoga Inferno, releasing several fireballs from his mouth, it's recommended to stay far away from it, and take down the fireballs with the buster. He also uses Yoga Fire, which is a small fireball projectile, it can be destroyed with normal shots. His Yoga Teleport, is his main method of movement, he uses his move to teleport around the stage, normally above the ground, and then strike with a spin attack going in a diagonal direction, this move has two variants, if the spin attack is done with his head on front, then the attack will have more of a horizontal motion, but if his feet are on the front, his attack will have a more vertical motion, going almost straight down. Sometimes instead of using his spin attack, Dhalsim would just use his Double Zoom Punch, in which he stretches his arms to attack Mega Man, all of these attacks can be avoided by sliding at the right time. He will also do the Yoga Shangri-La on the ground, in which case, it can be avoided by jumping. If Dhalsim is close to Mega Man, he will also use a slide attack, which can be just avoided by jumping. When his Super Combo Gauge is charged, he will use his Super Combo, Yoga Catastrophe, a big fireball that moves slowly. Which can be avoided by just jumping over it.

With the Optic Laser, the only "strategy" is to shoot him down with it, even when he is using his Super Combo, since it goes right through it. Although, be wary for any upcoming teleports that might lead him to strike with an attack.
