Doctor Wily's Daughter (ドクターワイリーの娘 Dokutā Wairi no Musume) is the 21st episode of Rockman EXE Stream. It is originally aired on February 26, 2005 in Japan.[1]
Plot[]
In a hospital, a patient who had been unconscious for a long time wakes up. It is the missing Detective Misaki. Netto is happy that Misaki has recovered. However, there are still no clues about Ozono Yuriko, the woman who is thought to have brought Misaki to the hospital. Meanwhile, an incident involving Asteroid Bomberman occurs near the hospital. Misaki fights Bomberman with Prisman, but Bomberman materializes and attacks Misaki. Yuriko appears in front of Misaki, who is in a desperate situation.[1]
Meanwhile, Yuriko meets her adoptive father Doctor Wily after a long time of seeing him.
Summary[]
In the cold opening, Gorou Misaki wakes up at the hospital, much to the nurse dismay. Meanwhile at the NetPolice Headquarters, Commisioner Kifune shows Netto, Yuichiro, Meijin and Manabe an archived footage of a battle between Slur and Forte. The group discusses the pattern of Asteroid attacks, but unfortuately despite knowing Slur is at the head of all incidents, they don't know the full extent of Slur's abilities. In the middle of the meeting the phone rings. Manabe picks up the phone call from the hospital about Misaki being hospitalized, much to the Kifune's suprise.
Netto, Commissioner Kifune and Manabe visits Misaki at the hospital. Netto gives Misaki the Progress PET that includes his NetNavi PrisMan. Commissioner Kifune changes the topic to who might've been the one to save Misaki. Misaki confirms their suspicions, believing that the one who saved him was Yuriko. Meanwhile, Yuriko walking in the street until she meet her long-lost adoptive father Doctor Wily.
After Netto, Manabe and Commissioner Kifune visited Misaki, chaos occurs in traffic due to feud between Slur and Colonel from the cyberworld causing this. Netto plugs Rockman into a nearby telephone booth to check what is going on. Rockman stops Slur from attacking Colonel and tries to fight them, but Slur is enraged when Rockman lands a hit. They tie Rockman in place, ready to banish him to the UraNet, but Colonel jumps in and saves Rockman, damaging himself in the process. Slur escape from the fight and gives an unnamed banker an Asteroid Navi named BomberMan.
Meanwhile, Yuriko has a meal with Wily, discussing Yuriko and Regal's past when Wily "rescued" them after their plane crash. Yuriko, however, tells Wily that he only treated them as objects, due to being Duo's observers. She recalls never being allowed to leave the research lab and being trapped for eleven years until Regal helped them both escape. Yuriko tells Wily about how she was willing to follow Regal's every whim, but was abandoned in the end. Wily mentions Regal's dissapearance after his defeatDr. Regal’s Rampage and that they're heading towards Duo's destruction. Yuriko gets up to leave when Wily throws her a can. Upon opening it, she realizes it contains her Synchro Chip. Wily disappears before she can say anything else.
At The Ministry of Science, Yuichiro and Meijin explain to Netto, Manabe, and Commissioner Kifune the process of healing Colonel while they watch over his unconscious body. Yuichiro reveals that Colonel is a Ameroppian Military Navi as Colonel starts to wake up. After realizing what happened and where he is, Colonel frantically states that he must go back somewhere. Before they can ask any questions Colonel dissapears.
At the hospital, PrisMan alerts Misaki about BomberMan. Meanwhile, the banker uses BomberMan to attack the computers at various banks to cover up his theft. Misaki plugs in PrisMan to open the storage room, then PrisMan encounters BomberMan and has a brief battle with him until BomberMan gets defeated. The the banker uses the Dimensional Chip to materialized BomberMan into the real world. Yuriko appears to assist Misaki and cross fuses into C.F. NeedleMan to battle against BomberMan until he attacks her by stretching her arms, attempting to rip her in half. Netto arrives just in time and attacks BomberMan, freeing Yuriko. Netto briefly battles and deletes BomberMan. However, Yuriko managed to flee the scene. After that, BomberMan's operator got arrested.
At a lab of the Neo WWW Headquarters, Tesla and Gauss Magnets are looking at the shattered remains of Regal's Synchro Chip stored in multiple capsules. Using this, Tesla declares she will create her own synchro chip.
