The Double Bullet (ダブルバレット Daburu Baretto), are two handguns Axl obtains by defeating Flame Hyenard in Mega Man X7. Although they do the same amount of damage as the Axl Bullet (without upgrades), Axl dual-wields these guns, allowing him to aim at two targets at once. This makes them useful in dealing with groups of small weak enemies. He can also only use Circle Blaze while wielding these firearms.
In Mega Man X8, the Bound Blaster has the same design as this weapon, but Axl only wields one gun instead of two.
Other media
In Rockman X7 4Koma Manga Kingdom, Double Bullet is represented as two Axl Bullets instead of being different weapons. X doesn't like when Axl obtains Double Bullet as he considers it too violent, and replaces one of the guns by a megaphone (again) so Axl can try to talk with the Mavericks and reach a peaceful solution. Alia is confused and asks why Axl is with a megaphone again, and Axl replies that he is also confused.
