The Double Bullet (ダブルバレット Daburu Baretto), are two handguns Axl obtains by defeating Flame Hyenard in Mega Man X7. Although they do the same amount of damage as his default pistol (without upgrades), Axl dual-wields these guns, allowing him to aim at two targets at once. This makes them useful in dealing with groups of small weak enemies.
This weapon reappears in Mega Man X8, and is necessary to use Bound Blaster, however Axl only uses one gun instead of two.
