This is a list of characters who are mentioned in the Mega Man franchise but are unseen, and often unnamed.

Narrator[]

Voice actors: Chika Sakamoto (Rockman 8[1]), Osamu Hosoi (Rockman X4[1]), Tommy James (Mega Man X8), Kyouzou Kudou (Rockman X8), Koyama Takeshi (Rockman EXE episode 29), Makoto Yasumura (Rockman EXE Axess episode 6), Akira Kamiya (Rockman Kiki Ippatsu).

A narrator, also known as narration (ナレーション) and heavenly voice (天の声[2]), is an anonymous, disembodied voice that delivers messages about the story or gameplay to the viewer.

Mega Man[]

Watt[]

Watt (ワット Watto) is Fuse Man's pet rabbit. In the Japanese version Watt is an eel, possibly being mistranslated due to eel being written as ウナギ (unagi) in Japanese, while rabbit is ウサギ (usagi). Taking care of Watt calms Fuse Man down, and is the only time he can relax as his dangerous job keeps him constantly alert and on edge.

Mega Man X[]

Dr. Jim[]

Dr. Jim (ジム博士 Jimu Hakase) was an important laser researcher that Shield Sheldon worked for as a bodyguard. However, tragedy struck and Dr. Jim became a Maverick, and Sheldon felt it necessary to dispose of Jim because of his Maverick corruption. As Shield Sheldon was one of Gate's creations, his actions were misinterpreted and others concluded that he was the one that became a Maverick, but before the Maverick Hunters realized the mistake, Shield Sheldon took his own life, feeling useless for failing to protect Dr. Jim, and unable to deal with being labeled as a Maverick.

Grogz[]

Grogz (グロッグス Guroggusu) is a runaway Maverick mentioned in Zero's ending in Mega Man X7. The Maverick Hunters located him at Point F5113 and Alia calls Zero to head to the local.

Mega Man Battle Network[]

Baryl's father[]

In Mega Man Battle Network 6, it reveals Baryl's father was a Netopian Commander who recruited Dr. Wily to research robots for the country. The two became good friends, and this friendship allowed Wily to forget his hatred of net society for just a little longer, until the man was sent off to war, where he was killed a few years later. His hatred rekindled, Wily adopted Baryl and used the Soldier Data the boy's father gave Wily to train Baryl into a better soldier than his father, and slowly began to wage his war on net society.

Mayl's father[]

Mayl Sakurai's father is revealed to be Netopian in a Vision Burst in Mega Man Battle Network 5.

MegaMan Junior[]

MegaMan Junior, known as Rockman Junior (ロックマン・ジュニア Rokkuman Junia) in Japan, as revealed in Mega Man Star Force 2, is the NetNavi of Patch created by the best bits of data from MegaMan and Roll 20 years after the end of Mega Man Battle Network 6.

New Colonel and Iris[]

After Wily's third defeat in Mega Man Battle Network 6, he reformed and became a productive member of society, creating a new version of Colonel and his sister Iris as a “Net Reinforcement System”. The new Colonel is a system that finds and deletes viruses and criminals on the Net automatically. Iris is a “Net Recovery System” that seeks out damage on the net and repairs it.

Yai's gardener[]

The operator of NeedleMan in Mega Man Network Transmission is mentioned to be a gardener working in Yai's home.

Mega Man Star Force[]

Goat-Foo[]

Goat-Foo, known as Goat (ゴート Gōto) in Japan, is a FM-ian mentioned in Mega Man Star Force 2. Kidd Gruff's Star Carrier mentions that he met Goat-Foo in Alohaha. They can EM Wave Change into Kung Foo Kid.

Johnny[]

Johnny (ジョニー Jonī) is a person mentioned twice by Ken Suther in the stories told by him in Mega Man Star Force 2.

”Dr. Bianco“ (ビアンコ博士 Bianko Hakase) is the maker of Blu D, Rosso M, Oro S, Verde R, and Nero L.

Samuel[]

Samuel was one of the members of the research team assembled by the United Nations and commissioned to investigate the Lanfront Ruins. He had a heart condition that necessitated a pacemaker. Dr. Pedro Astil implied when relaying the story of the disastrous mission in Issue 29 of the Mega Man series by Archie Comics that Samuel had died as a result of his pacemaker shutting down.

Mariko and Yuriko's parents[]

Ms. Mari and Ms. Yuri's parents were victims of a plane crashed caused by Duo's Comet. While Ms. Mari was not present, Ms. Yuri and Dr. Regal were on the plane, and were the only two survivors. They were subsequently found and adopted by Mr. Wily, the two later forming Nebula.

RocketMan's operator[]

RocketMan's operator is an unseen character who participates in the N1 Grand Prix with RocketMan, but is never seen.

WhaleMan's operator[]

WhaleMan's operator is an unseen character who participates in the N1 Grand Prix with WhaleMan, but is never seen. The two work at an aquarium.

Dragão Brasil Especial #14[]

Acid Man[]

Acid Man is a name jokingly used in one example from Dragão Brasil Especial #14 vehicle rules in the quote "What was that thing that Acidman used to escape?". This name was later used for another character in Mega Man 11.

Dr. Aleph[]

Dr. Aleph is a gray haired scientist from the small adventure example. He is a robotics genius that was working on an energy condenser for years. While presenting his prototype energy condenser in the International Robotics Fair, Wily sent a robot to steal it.

Power Man[]

Power Man is the boss from the small adventure example. He is Dr. Wily's newest creation, a powerful electric robot with red eyes that is equipped with the prototype energy condenser stolen from Dr. Aleph.
