Drill Man's Stage is a stage that appeared in Mega Man 4 and Mega Man III that has Drill Man as the boss.
Appearances[]
Mega Man 4[]
Drill Man's Stage takes place deep in the underground ore mines. It is primarily a combat-oriented stage, having a wide variety of enemies and tricky spike placements. However, at the final room of the stage, 2 unique gimmicks are introduced. The first is a boulder dispenser, which all have arrows pointing downwards but blend in with the other foreground elements. Once the player passes an invisible trigger, a boulder will fall down from the dispenser to hurt the player if they keep walking. They can be destroyed, but if they hit the ground, they will disperse into several fragments that can also be destroyed. The trigger zone may cause multiple boulders to fall down at once if they player keeps going in and out of it, but it can also be used as a way to farm for goodies. There are 8 boulder dispensers. The second is a lever on the background wall. Upon touching the lever, it will generate new terrain ahead for the player to walk. It's required to activate the levers as you cannot walk on the terrain when it's "invisible." There are 4 levers that have to be activated in this final room. Beating the stage will automatically reward the player with Rush Jet.

Valuable pickups to look out for:
1-UP: In the second Battonton room, tucked away inside a little cave platform. A tight jump over spikes is required to reach it without dying.
E-Tank: Right after the Pakatto 24 room. On a higher up platform, utilities like Rush Coil/Wire/Balloon can reach it with ease.
Mega Man III[]
Drill Man's Stage in the GB demake is once again in the underground ore mines. However, there are a lot more gimmicks and hazards to worry about this time around, which are brought into play one-by-one throughout the stage. The first of which are the two-sided spike platforms from Cossack Stage 2 in Mega Man 4. These platforms always have 2 spikes on, either on the vertical or horizontal sides, and alternates every 5 seconds or so. The second of which are the red dropping platforms from Mega Man 3. These platforms are actually two halves, and when stood on, the platform quickly splits apart to drop the player before coming back together. This stage has a lot of valuable pickups and may be worth going for first if they are needed, especially for the room with two E-Tanks. If you drop right from that room, you'll have to cross a bed of spikes using Appearing Blocks, the only ones in the stage. After this, the boulder dispensers return, though the dispensers are simply holes in the ceiling and do not have arrows pointing down, though some of them won't actually dispense boulders. Lastly, there is one setup with Count Bombs. They are platforms that, once stood down will start ticking a countdown from 3, and explode after it reaches 0. After the Count Bombs is a tall platform that requires Rush Coil to progress.

Valuable pickups to look out for:
1-UP: After the transition room containing two Helipons, this pickup rests on a high platform, which can be reached using Rush Coil/Jet.
Eddie: Appears in a room shortly after a setup with two dropping platforms and a spike platform. The only thing in this room is Eddie, who will randomly provide a big health energy, a big weapon energy, a 1-UP, or an E-Tank. If the player doesn't like what they get and doesn't take it, they can re-enter the room (this can be done by jumping from the higher platform on the right, which triggers a vertical transition) to have Eddie provide the player another valuable pickup.
E-Tank (×2): Right after the room with Eddie is a room with 2 E-Tanks. Both of them rest on a dropping platform, which hangs over spikes. This platform also has another dropping platform right over it, so you have to precisely time a jump off the lower platform in order to claim both E-Tanks. You could either drop down from the higher dropping platform, or walk off the left side of terrain to land on it.
