Droitclair (ドロワクレール Dorowakurēru), often shortened to Droit (ドロワ Dorowa), is a character and playable Rank S Hunter Program in Mega Man X DiVE. She is the middle sister of Angepitoyeir and Eratoeir, and is a glitch in the Deep Log hosting the Sigma Virus.
Overview[]
Droitclair doesn't resemble a typical Mega Man X character, due to the fact that she is not technically from the series and appeared in the Deep Log due to a bug. She is a girl with pink and blue hair tied in twintails, and wears a black dress with black detached sleeves and knee-high boots. She has a bit of a split personality.
History[]
Droitclair and her siblings first appear shadowed out where Droitclair curses out iCO for noticing their presence and following the The Player to keep them safe. She then reveals herself and offers to be the first one to confront The Player, iCO, RiCO and ViA. After The Player has defeated the Magna Quartz, Droitclair throws a fit, pondering why everyone is so happy and blaming The Player for it, but is calmed by Angepitoyeir. She is then scolded by Eratoeir where she throws another tantrum and vows to destroy The Player and the others. She summons Magna Centipede and iCO notices she's nearby and calls her out, where she gets angry that iCO treats her like a child and refuses to tell them her name. After Magna Centipede is defeated, Droitclair becomes disheartened and RiCO asks her if she is alright. She tells them her name and says they may call her “Droit” but Eratoeir and Angepitoyeir scold her for becoming friendly with The Player and the others and the three siblings leave.
Behind the scenes[]
Droitclair was designed by Ryuji Higurashi, the character designer for Mega Man 11, and was told to design her as "bangya", [1] "devilish", "pale-skin-loud-eyes-type make-up" and for "an appearance that doesn't resemble Rockman."[2]

Etymology[]
- Droitclair's name is a portmanteau of the French words droit ("right") and clair ("clear" or "light [color]").
- English translations of both these French words can be transliterated into ライト (raito) in Japanese.
