- "Stop the targets and restore the city management system."
- ―Stage description, Mega Man X8
Dynasty (ダイナスティ Dainasuti) is Gigabolt Man-O-War's stage in Mega Man X8. It is a bustling maritime city called Megalopolis, located in southwestern Australia, which is in the midst of an energy crisis thanks to the tamperings of Gigabolt Man-O-War.[1][2]
Description[]

The stage is a unique one - it has no enemies, items, upgrades, or on-foot segments, being solely composed of a chase segment after Gigabolt Man-O-War himself. The player pilots an airborne Sirius Ride Chaser automatically pursuing him, avoiding oncoming obstacles such as aircars, street signs, and Man-O-War's attacks. There is a limited amount of time before Man-O-War escapes, in which the player must deal enough damage to trigger his boss battle. (If he does escape, Gigabolt will automatically win.) By collecting Weapon Energy, the player can boost to catch up to Man-O-War faster. Once the boss battle is triggered, he lands on a floating platform to fight on-foot.

- Alia: "Keep the target in your sights as he moves. If you attack it enough, you should be able to stop its rampage."
- Alia: "You've almost caught up to the target! Take him down before you miss your chance!"
Trivia[]
- Dynasty is the only Maverick stage in the Mega Man X series to have no secret upgrades at all. Because there is no place for a Light Capsule in this stage, the Buster Parts I are instead located in Noah's Park.
- Unless it count the boss fight, this stage is also the only stage in all Mega Man games that has neither enemies nor on-foot segments at all.
