Aluce (アルス Arusu) and Cedar (シーダ Shīda) are two minor characters seen at the start of Mega Man X7. Aluce is a stocky Reploid that walks with a cane and wears a coat and hat. Cedar is a slender Reploid with long purple hair who wears a long black jacket.

Mega Man X7[]
Aluce was hunted by Red Alert for some unspecified Maverick activity. Aluce and Cedar were planning to trade the special S-class illegal product "Virus Program Σ-02", but Snipe Anteator discovered that they would make the trade in a building from Point RD13-29, resulting in Red Alert going after them.[1]
After their trade, Cedar goes to investigate the sound of an explosion, only to be killed. Aluce, hearing the gun shot, retreats further into the building, and when he reaches a safe room, notes that someone must have leaked their plans. He is then reunited with Cedar, and the two make their escape. Walking down a hallway, Aluce ponders who leaked the info, only to be shot by Cedar. Aluce asks if Cedar is the traitor, but he morphs, revealing himself to be Axl. Aluce dies shocked at Axl's copying abilities.

- Aluce has a cigar-shaped energy replenisher[1] in the Japanese version of the game, which was removed in the North American and European versions as well as in all versions of Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2's releases.
- Aluce and Cedar's names are reversed in the Rockman X7 Original Soundtrack, calling the one with the cigar Cedar.
- Cedar's overall design bears some similarities to Spider from Mega Man X: Command Mission. His facial markings are also similar to Sigma's in Mega Man X8.
