List of known entries from the Reaverbot contest in the Mega Man Legends 3 US/PAL Devroom, which had Calamity as the winner.

Abyssal[]

Creator: Servbot #322 (Ditrauma)

Details:
Attack 1 - Stomp its feet to the ground and cause an earthquake. Do no damage but will stun the player.

Attack 2 - Move forward and spin the upper part of its body.

Attack 3 - Shoulder shooting fireball.

Weak Point - Destroy both of its shoulder and crotch to defeat it.

Adamant[]

Creator: Servbot #144 (Classic_Megaman)

Details:
Adamant must be defeated in a way other than shoot strafing. It is invulnerable to all of Megaman’s weapons, and can only be defeated with part of itself. It usually wanders with other Reavers. It shoots a large ball on a chain quickly at Megaman causing a small explosion. The chain is NOT invulnerable, but takes a lot of damage to break (special weapons time!). Shoot it before Adamant pulls it back in. When the chain breaks, Adamant will panic and charge at you. Pick up the large ball and hurl it at Adamant only once to defeat him.

Amenaza[]

Creator: Servbot #1143 (Blues1990)

MML3 Devroom Amenaza

Details:
Its eyes (first the large ones & then the small) & ball joints are its main weak points. The arms & large shoulders can detach & hover around its host, making this bot a triple threat. It's (usually) passive, but can be provoked to short bursts of senseless violence.

Artillejon[]

Creator: Servbot #776 (Anton)

Details:
Quick and nimble, it always tries to face you and block your path. It switches randomly between each of its heads, each one with its own attack. Attacks can, for example, include spraying flames, bombs, electric balls, energy beams, homing shots, ice-breath, paralyzing-breath etc.

Only the attacking head is vulnerable. Destroy all 3 heads to defeat it. With only 1 head remaining, it enters rage-mode, where the remaining head's attack gets boosted. Example, the flamethrower becomes an expanding ring of fire, bombs launch in a group creating shock-waves on detonation, electric balls are shot in lines at varying heights etc.

Extra Comments: It's not the fastest thing alive. The quick and nimble part was mostly so that it wouldn't be as slow at turning as a Hanmaru Doll for example. Its front legs are quite powerful, though. The back legs are more for stability and recoil absorbing.

Automata[]

Creator: Servbot #2236 (Kenny)

Details:
Automata is basically a slot machine on four legs. It usually charges at enemies and smashes them with his lever arm as a default attack, but whenever it's shot, it stops one of the rotator's in its mouth, (like a slot machine). It then uses a special attack corresponding to what the rotator's landed on. For example, if 2 out of 3 of the rotator's are bombs, a bomb will pop out of its back and at you. If 3 out of 3 are bombs, it drops a bigger one instead. If none match, it does nothing. It also can drop more reaverbots and rarely, a refractor jackpot.

Staff Comments: I think I'd get so hung up on trying to score cool loot from this thing that I'd forget all about fighting it! If more than one appeared at a time, you'd have even better chances of getting something good, and you'd probably end up wasting a lot of time. Sounds fun!

I do think that in its current state, it'd be a bit hard to make out the symbols from far away, so you'd probably have to make it considerably bigger.

Backstab[]

Creator: Servbot #Unknown (Anthony)

Details:
My idea for a reaverbot is one befriends Megaman and helps him fight reaverbots. It is shaped like a bell, has no arms and walks upright on two peg legs (the green reaverbot in my profile pic). It attacks using flying kicks, similar to a "Dynamic Entry." However, the reason it befriends Megaman is so that it can get past the locked door at the end of the ruin to retrieve its body. The Reaverbot is made of other reaverbots that act as its arms, legs. The green bell reaverbot is actually the head of Backstab (tentative name).

Bahamot[]

Creator: Servbot #1976 (Axl-fox)

Details:
Bahamot is an ancient Reaverbot programmed to guard rooms (those containing crystals), if he detects an intruder, is likely that it'll stomp it to death. It specializes in physical combat, and in rarer occasions, will shoot missiles from its mouth. His armor looks heavy but he's actually agile.

  1. Will raise his arms and stomp you if you're too close.
  2. Bahamot will chase you around the place, if he reaches you he'll attack you using its horns.
  3. There will be times where Bahamot will screw up trying to stomp you and trip, he'll be vulnerable during this state.

Extra Comments: The design is nothing ground-breaking. But the idea was to make something not too complicated yet effective.

I Actually never intended to make him look like a dog (considering that Bahamot is supposed to be despised as some sort of reptile/leviathan creature) I actually wanted to make him look like an occidental dragon, but I skipped the wings and the tail to avoid modeling issues.

Balturto[]

Creator: Servbot #Unknown (jon)

Details:
Large reaverbot that relies on sound sense for sight is hindered. Does ground pounds to stun the enemy then rushes. Also uses head when dropped like flail to smash and sweep the surrounding area.

Weakness: Red eye on the underbelly

Strategy: Reaverbot is stunned when rushes towards the enemy and misses, ramming into a nearby area... OR stunned when head is used like flail and misses.

When stunned Megaman runs underneath and blasts the red eye.

Bodorai[]

Creator: Servbot #616 (Tron Bonne)

Bodorai

Details:
Connected by the one set of hands, Bodorai appears as a large dancing couple. Depending on dance movements it could; have a quick robust movement that needs avoiding, perform launching dance attacks when disturbed before returning to dancing, or even explode on contact (leaving nothing), they take no damage, just get knocked back when hit. If you wait a bit for it to finish dancing, the couple bows and vanishes, leaving rewards. Soft, creepy music plays while they dance. Seems to speak unintelligible words giving the impression of intelligence. Appearance open to interpretation, below are two ideas on appearance.

Boulton[]

Creator: Servbot #270 (Colin)

Boulton

Details:
Boulton’s design is based on that of a Persian bottle. It has four eyes, one on each side of its head. Its primary attack is shooting lasers out of each of its eyes; its secondary attack is launching electrical charges out of the spikes on its body. It will usually have only two eyes open at once. The legs are capable of moving both side to side and up and down, allowing it to move freely in all directions. Its head can swivel and if the body is destroyed, act on its own, flying around the arena dropping bombs.

Camelion[]

Creator: Servbot #2425 (Veter)

Capasaito[]

Creator: Servbot #Unknown (Pastel)

Capasaito

Details:
Appearance: Four legged Reaverbot with a jittery head that has two vertical eyes. The middle of the body has a large ceramic insulator type apparatus that gives off sparks. When it moves, its body lurches slightly and its head gives off smoke.

Basic Move-Set: Four legged Reaverbot with a jittery head that has two vertical eyes. The middle of the body has a large ceramic insulator type apparatus that gives off sparks. When it moves, its body lurches slightly and its head gives off smoke.

-When Trigger gets too close, it'll whip its upper body around in an arc, trying to brush him away.

-Can fire a bolt of electricity at Trigger any time when it has charge. It often uses this as a counter attack to being shot or strafed around, jumping back while firing.

-When low on energy, it will enter a panic mode and clamor towards Trigger trying to slam into him before exploding.

Parameters: Four legged Reaverbot with a jittery head that has two vertical eyes. The middle of the body has a large ceramic insulator type apparatus that gives off sparks. When it moves, its body lurches slightly and its head gives off smoke. It has fairly good endurance, more than a Zakoban but not as much as a Guruguru. Its walking speed is a little slower than an Arukoitan's. Its stronger variation has two insulators on its back, instead of just one and is purple instead of green.

Specific Formations: In groups, Capasaito would start to circle Trigger when he got close, trying to block him off from escaping their electrical discharges.

Strategy and Tactics: Four legged Reaverbot with a jittery head that has two vertical eyes. The middle of the body has a large ceramic insulator type apparatus that gives off sparks. When it moves, its body lurches slightly and its head gives off smoke.

Normally it just moves towards you at a steady rate to offset circling, but will break it up when shot at to slide to the side and throw off your targeting. As previously mentioned it will leap back before attacking.

Zenny Drops: 1500 per, drops energy frequently.

Special Notes: In pitch black ruins, they'd give off only low light from their eyes until they got close.

Catterbot, Cocoonbot and Harin[]

Creator: Servbot #Unknown (joe (DJ P0N-3))

Catterbot, Cocoonbot & Harin

Details:
Catterbot

DESCRIPTION: he is about the size of a golden retriever, He has relatively low health but medium to high attack damage and would appear in small groups.

ATTACKS: his main two attacks are rollout (as pictured above) in which he rolls into a ball and rushes at Megaman. While the attack is fast and does a lot of damage, it has a long startup and cool down time. This would mean attacking him right after he finishes the attack would be ideal. The other attack is chomp in which he chomps up the ground in front of him as he comes towards mega man. This attack is easy to avoid since he goes at a relatively slow pace, but it does a decent amount of damage. However, when using this attack (which is almost constant when he's not using rollout) his defense goes up a ton, making it much harder to kill him.

TACTICS: As one alone would be too easy to kill, the main tactic of this bot involves distracting mega man with numbers in hopes of getting a hit or two in from blindsiding. The main tactic for fighting them might be to jump around the room so it is easier to keep tabs on all of the enemies, and waiting for them to perform rollout to get hits in.

Cocoonbot

DESCRIPTION: These guys are relatively small (about 1.5 to 2 feet in length) and are very quick. They have low attack and health and they would also appear in groups, possibly with other enemy types. They generally hide on the ceiling in a dungeon, and quickly pop down on a string when they attack.

ATTACKS: These guys only have their one main eye blast attack, but if they hit Trigger on the way down then they do medium damage. Of course they return to the ceiling immediately after attacking.

TACTICS: Being careful when entering a room is the most important thing, as spotting them before they drop down allows you to pick them off early. These bots are all about the surprise attack, and will move very quickly in an attempt to avoid getting hit. Also having some kind of a homing attack ready would allow you to hit them more easily if they're moving around too much.

Harin (a.k.a. Spiderbot): Yeah, this bot is Harin, I just forgot to look at the list of existing reaverbots and jumped the gun on this one.

If you remember Harin, this thing has all the same powers, drops bombs, runs at you, etc... I personally like this design a little bit better, but I'm not sure there's any point in having it here.

Centarabon[]

Creator: Servbot #1593 (Bon3s)

Details:
This is my Reaverbot entry called Centarabon. It is based on the mythical creature called the centaur. It is a jousting lance wielding type of reaverbot and can 'dash' at Megaman to attack him. It can also stomp its feet if Megaman gets too close and will knock the player down. When Centarabon is raising its shield it will not be able to be damaged. Its weak point is the legs. It is most vulnerable if the player is able to lure the Centarabon into a wall. This will allow the player to do double damage.

Extra Comments: I based his upper body on the Sharukurusu and yeah the floating arms were definitely from Juno. I tried to capture all of the reaverbots in one as far as style and color.

I had always wondered what type of reaverbot wielded the shield and I thought it would be cool if we encountered that reaverbot with the shield in MML3.

I really would have loved to post more pictures but I didn’t find out about this contest until WAY late in the game and was only able to produce the images you see. I have a LOT of concept pieces trying to get the design just right, but by the time I was able to get the design you see I had no time to refine and make a storyboard. I’m rather disappointed in my submission due to the fact that I had a lot more planned for it with no time.

Centariot[]

Creator: Servbot #2457 (Richie)

Details:
Centariot a.k.a Ruin Knight
-Large, 4-legged.
-Solid armor.
-Have a lance-like arm.

Attacks: Charge, stomp, laser eye, grab-throw something, back-kick, thrust, and slice (?).

Chozokkar[]

Creator: Servbot #149 (Ancode)

Chozokkar

Details:
Chozokkar is a medium-large, four legged, slow speed, Reaverbot. It walks around ignoring everything until a digger attacks it, or gets near a certain place (a door, a treasure box or some spot), then it activates its offensive mode. In offensive mode it can crash to the ground making a small shockwave that can hurt the digger, and additionally a Horokko Reaverbot will appear from Chozokkar's upper body. It also spins as a top does. However when doing so its movements become random and uncontrollable. If it is beaten it leaves behind a Horokko.

Codosym[]

Creator: Servbot #2159 (KoKO)

Details:
HEAVY, Defensive/Repair Reaverbot - has 2 forms

Huge upper body houses reaverbot parts used for repairs, can rotate to follow Megaman with Dome eye.

Dome splits in half when entering 2nd form (either when 3 minions are destroyed or legs damaged).

Uses claws to pick up damaged reaverbots and as anchor/pillar in 2nd form.

Attacks -

1) 3 minions, bombs (from dome).

2) Lasers

3) (If arms destroyed) flying bombs

Weak spots -

1) Legs

2) Arms, chest (red spots)

Cyroojishin[]

Creator: Servbot #Unknown (Graham)

Cyroojishin

Details:
Basic Move-Set: The Cyroojishin is a flying Reaverbot that is propelled by two propellers. It consists of the main (head) segment, the wings, as well as another bottom segment which may be the most important part...The Cyroojishin flies around the room, until it spots the player, from there, it will fly towards you and hover above you... From there, it will drop its weight on top of you, crushing Megaman. You can avoid the dangling weight by running away, or diving. Where this gets tricky, is if you don't move and/or think fast enough, or are stunned by electricity!

Parameters: The Cyroojishin is a quite fast Reaverbot, capable of quickly flying towards you, and staying above you, until it drops its weight, that is. Its health is moderate, similar to the Shurukurusu!

Specific Formations: They appear in large rooms, in groups of 1-4. The larger the group, the tougher they are. If there are multiples, sometimes they will group together, to gain more crushing area.

Strategy and Tactics: The Reaverbot will fly towards you and stay above you, dangling a weight, until it decides to drop it on you. When the weight is dropped, it is immobile for a short while, making it able for the player to shoot it. These Reaverbots may get quite tricky if you are stunned by electricity. If multiple Cyroojishin are chunked together, they may drop weights all at the same time, making it all that much tougher to dodge.

Zenny Drops: Relatively small, considering its size. Zenny drops are similar to the Horroko.

Usual Habitat: Namely Jungle Ruins, but could appear in absolutely any ruin!

Special Notes: Please feel free to discuss. Also, thanks to General Specific about the "grouping" idea.

Dafne[]

Creator: Servbot #632 (Mysteryman)

Details:
A seemingly non aggressive and banal four-legged reaverbot that rests in the ruins. In its regular form, it seldom moves and is heavily armored. It begins approaching an intruder after the intruder has turned their back on it or is attacked with a strong weapon. When in close proximity it lets out an eerie lullaby like that of a mother's and opens up its shell, revealing its true form. In this state it operates like a rotating stationary turret that fires lasers in streams or pulses from the circular indentations on its opened petals to slay the baffled enemy.

Dimethros[]

Creator: Servbot #550 (lorenzo)

Details:
Dimethros is a large reaverbot that uses its massive pseudo-head and tail as melee weapons (img 2 and 4). It sends floor shock-waves that can stun the player by hammering the floor with its jaw (img 2). It also has two burners in its front feet that spews short-range flames (img 5). Dimethros is a dangerous foe when faced in close proximity. Its body is impervious to attacks (img 1). It’s only weak spot is its reaverbot eye that is usually shielded by its pseudo-head, but it is vulnerable if it brings its hammering jaw to the floor (img 3).

DiZeBoko[]

Creator: Servbot #375 (Purifier)

Details:
Housed inside the gigantic Reaverbot is an abnormal power source. Visible between the cracks of his metal rib cage. Which rotates continuously or upon falling down in a weakened state.

Normally a Reaverbot of this caliber is bad news. Humorously for reasons unknown, his head floats upside down unlike how it once was centuries ago. This causes the giant to be more bumbling than a menacing threat.

Attack strategy used by this Reaverbot includes running towards his opponents at ramming speed, whipping his tails wildly, and firing energy projectiles from the horn on his forehead, located now as a chin.

Staff Comments: Though there were plenty of Reaverbot ideas with protected weak points, this was the first time I'd ever seen one with a rotating ribcage. Reaverbots never were much for efficiency.

Draver[]

Creator: Servbot #Unknown (Agile)

Draver

Details:
This Reaverbot is a two-headed dragon. Its sleek body likely gives it great mobility despite its size. It is designed so that its tail and head can be interchangeable in battle. As such, one scenario might be that its "true" head, and thus weak point, switches from its front end to its back end, keeping the player on the move and guessing. There are three gun ports for projectile attacks ranging from energy to flame on its frontal head, whereas the rear tail-head has two guns and can smash the player like a whip. Edit as necessary.

Design by: AJ Smorynski
Fight Scenario by: P.W. Smorynski

Elchied[]

Creator: Servbot #1299 (Blackhook)

Details:
An elegant reaverbot who never uses sneak attacks. Very fast and agile, but be careful of it, it will try to ram you with its sturdy horns. It can charge up energy in its horns then release them as a beam. As well as shoot small projectiles from the needles on its back. It can also do an energy dash releasing electricity into the ground. If you turn your back to it, Elchied will not attack, but that doesn't mean it won't try to face your front. If you see one that means that another Elchied isn't too far away.

Fenrir[]

Creator: Servbot #2216 (Alex (TwilightTrooper))

Details:
Ill-tempered and cunning, a solitary hunter, Fenrir digs through sand and snow for surprise attack combinations and stalking. It excels in speed and agility. Fenrir won't hesitate to attack other reaverbots if they get in the way. Its howls can blur the vision of anyone in range.

Extra Comments: The hair is only synthetic fibers, it's not real. I used it to give it a closer sense of animality.

I didn't want to repost the same one I did, so I went ahead and made what I consider to be the Alpha of the group, looks alike but still different. And besides wolves are awesome.

Floh[]

Creator: Servbot #Unknown (Autumn)

Floh

Details:
Don't let its massive size fool you, Floh was built to move. Designed after some long forgotten insect, Floh's hind legs give it more than enough spring to launch itself at an unsuspecting intruder. If the intruder is too quick for the reaverbot's primary attack, it will attempt to use an electric discharge to slow its opponent.

Fumitsuke[]

Creator: Servbot #235 (RockinX)

Details:
The devteam asked for a four-legged Reaverbot, but did not specify how its legs should be arranged! What makes you say “what the…?” more than a bizarre robot with one front leg and three back legs?

It attacks trespassers by jumping using its three backs legs and stomping with its single front leg. The front leg was made thicker and larger on purpose to avoid losing balance. I was originally going to name it after the yokai Karakasa (Kasa-obake) because of the similarity between it and my bot’s front leg and head.

GaiNeeRope[]

Creator: Servbot #2385 (Invader Dan)

Details:
Two bipedal Reaverbots that is one quadruped Reaverbot when linked via a rope composed of the mid-section joints -- length can be adjusted with any odd number of joints.

Gai-nee-rope uses it’s rolling spheres to catch up to its target when it’s slow moving legs won't suffice. Gai-nee-rope's core overheats and steams due to prolonged use of the spheres. Its chest plate temporally opens, thus exposing its core.

Destroying a rope segment splits Gai-nee-rope into two sentient Reaverbots.

If the only remaining part of Gai-nee-rope is its rope, then it will slither around like a snake.

Extra Comments: As for the attacks, there is only one special: "The jump rope or fry" attack. The grenades and other attacks are GaiNeeRope's standard attacks.

Since the rope will behave as a snake if the two bots are destroyed first, I'd decided to give GaiNeeRope the color scheme of a poisonous Texas coil snake.

Staff Comments Ishihara: Here I thought it was going to use the rope to strangle you, and it turned out to be more of a jump-rope affair! The humiliation of being forced to jump rope mixed with the creepiness of the design does strike me as somehow fitting for this series....

Gikobon[]

Creators: Servbot #1801 (Gauze)

Collaborator: Servbot #Unknown (Malev)

Gikobon

Details:
Gikobon is a giant purple Zakobon. It can shoot bombs, fireballs, ice balls, green, red, and white Zakobons from its bottom. It can also spin around. And it can shoot out missiles from the holes on its body. And laser beams shoot out of its eye. And summons lighting from its horn and strikes you with it. And if any of his attacks hit you, then you get a status effect where your buster is disabled and your weapon energy decreases rapidly, like what the shield reaverbot did from Mega Man Legends 2.

Girafacam[]

Creator: Servbot #1412 (Malev)

Details:
A tall giraffe-like reaverbot that dwells inside and outside of large ruins.

It is usually calm and dormant until threatened. If provoked up-close, it will retaliate by kicking and swinging its neck around; otherwise it will flee. Once spooked, it will continue galloping around, potentially trampling you as it runs past.

Its weakness is its head. Some short-ranged weapons may have difficulty hitting that high. Damage the body too much and it will jettison its head and neck and slither off like a snake while its body self-destructs, leaving a smaller target to finish off.

Go-Gogant[]

Creator: Servbot #2326 (Wyvern-Smasher)

Details:
1) UNICORN- Conserves energy by hibernating, but still has sub-conscious control over its body. Able to fire energy balls at enemies. But it also reveals its weak-spot when it does.

2) CRAB- Wakes up from its slumber when HP is half, attacks with ferocity using moves that cover a large radius as well as short range shock-waves.

3) VEHICLE (Chariot) - Can cover large distances very quickly with its wheels; however it’s very hard to control, usually crashing into objects.

4) TRUE FORM- Take this form in a pinch. Its rage will take it over, firing wildly at everything. Can hover for a limited time.

Staff Comments: The array of attacks made possible by its many forms is simply incredible.

Golgotha[]

Creator: Servbot #665 (Hypershell)

Golgotha

Details:
Among the more savage of Reaverbots, the twin spears on either side of Golgotha's head can extend to skewer intruders! The "spine" piece on his back opens to reveal a cannon which fires...sponges? They're icky, sticky, and will electrocute whatever poor Digger they land on, so watch out! Golgotha can also spit fireballs from his mouth, or after a brief charge-up, send a fire wave through the ground. Golgotha's legs are adept for leaping and traction, allowing it to battle on all kinds of uneven and/or slippery terrain.

Gomorrah[]

Creator: Servbot #767 (Zaiy)

Gomorrah

Details:
Gomorrah fights in a large dome of sand and is constantly spewing flames out of the sides of his “mouth”. This heats up the room giving opponents only seven minutes to win the fight. He is invulnerable to damage and attacks with a flamethrower. Attacking his eyes will make him dig his front legs into the sand, once an eye closes in the sand, a “zombified“ reaverbot is summoned to attack but upon being defeated it makes a large explosion, which damages the floor. After a few are defeated, the floor collapses completely into quicksand and takes Gomorrah with it.

GoroGoro[]

Creator: Servbot #810 (Head Honcho McCritic (Cinereum))

Details:
A sentry type reaverbot that eats rocks for energy. Hangs on ruin ceilings and acts as a searchlight of sorts. If caught in the searchlight, the player will be attacked mercilessly, beware, is known to summon other reaverbots to attack. While big, its many eyes are its biggest weakness- attack them to cripple it! Dive-bombing, grapples, sneak and beam attacks are part of its deadly repertoire. The snake tail retracts into the main body when Gorogoro attacks, and emerges through the mouth to attack. KEEP YOUR DISTANCE- it will attempt to chew you. A reward awaits those who defeat it.

Graybot[]

Creator: Servbot #Unknown (Hiro)

Details:
Attack 1 - Attacks his opponent at long range with a gun he owns in the mouth

Attack 2 - Attacks his opponent at close range with two flamethrowers which has in the SHOULDER

Attack 3 - rams his opponent with body

Hakutoner[]

Creator: Servbot #676 (Icedude)

Details:
The Hakutoner is a large, slow reaverbot which makes up for its poor mobility with its substantial armor and firepower. When Megaman gets close, it will try to smash him with its large club-like arms, which burst into flame when they are swung. The tiny pincer-ended arms can also give Megaman an electric shock if he gets too close. The Hakutoner’s real firepower is at a distance. When Megaman is far away, the ‘mouth’ of the reaverbot springs open, revealing a deadly giant laser cannon. Its weak points are the small claw-tipped arms and the laser cannon’s lens.

Hankuruten[]

Creators: Servbot #359 (Canticleer Blues)

Collaborators: Servbot #97 (BusterCannon), Servbot #47 (Dashe), Servbot #828 (kkdogs4ado), Servbot #875 (Rockman Striker), Servbot #Unknown (finalphantom), Servbot #Unknown (Melty)

Details:
Despite its appearance, Hankuruten initially appears passive. It will stare intensely at you as long as you remain in its line of sight. Otherwise it will do nothing, even when attacked…until you attack another Reaverbot nearby. Then this berserker will relentlessly assault you using acrobatic melee attacks, high-speed tackles and grabs. Make sure to evade its grip and be warned: Hankuruten will use its remaining strength to take you down with a kamikaze wall slam should its chances become hopeless. If you decide to fight it without provoking it, its defense increases and its refractor payoff decreases.

Harachinos[]

Creator: Servbot #783 (Korps!)

Details:
HARACHINOS primary function is defensive, it hangs at the ceiling holding a hive with its lower legs.

The hive will then send drones to disrupt intruders, their numbers will make it so the player won't be able to overlook them and force him to take action.

There are two ways to deal with HARACHINOS, destroying the holder part or the hive.

The hive is full of large zennys crystals while the holder has nothing.

Destroying the holder will make him let go of the hive who will explode.

Destroying the hive will force the holder to go into offensive mode.

Extra Comments: When designing this thing I wanted a very distinctive shape but with an insect type feel to it. The point about the whole Zenny thing is that it will test your greed, Roll is always here to provide you upgrades but at unreasonable costs, Harachinos provide large amounts of Zennys but it won't go down without a fight, it's up to the player if they believe they have the skills needed to get the loot without dying. By the way you don't have to kill it to get the Zennys since they will quickly vanish but if you chose to destroy the hive you know you'll have to fight the reaverbot.

Also I've been thinking about what the drones could do from exploding to teaming up to create particular attacks. Basically they'll annoy Megaman endlessly when they are in large numbers and explode when alone. For the special attack they could circle Megaman and create some sort of paralyzing force shield (and then KABOOM).

Harinkoshi[]

Creator: Servbot #Unknown (Joshua)

Details:
This reaverbot charges the player and tries to ram him with its head. The head serves as a shield, meaning that the player cannot damage the reaverbot from the front. If the reaverbot misses the player with its charge, it releases an electric ball from the tip of the longest spike on its back that seeks-out the player. The electric ball can paralyze and slow the player, making it easier for the reaverbot to hit with its ramming attack.

Hazzad[]

Creator: Servbot #640 (Akane Jones)

Hazzad

Details:
A block mimic that activates if you jump on it or shoot at it at close range but some weren't activatable and just usable, and movable, as platforms.

IronTopBot[]

Creator: Servbot #2392 (StrengthHeart)

Details:
This is a remarkably agile, powerful, and extremely evasive reaverbot. The Iron Top Bot has unique adaptive, and learning properties. If the Iron Top Bot is attacked a short few times it will adapt to your weapons, and learn how to evade every attack attempted at it. When the Iron Top is on the offensive, it is highly unlikely that you will be able to damage it.

You must manage to survive the Iron Top's barrage of devastating attacks long enough for it to need to cool itself down, and attack it when it’s stationary.

Extra Comments: Following the template, and keeping in mind that it has to be large with four legs is the main thing, but the rest is all up to your imagination. Thinking about the style of the past games helps a little as well. That's a good resource.

Janusbot[]

Creator: Servbot #2511 (Boris)

Details:
Often found defending doors and gates it has a buster cannon in front and a head extended from the back, making it looks like it has 2 heads

Unit profile:
High defense
Strong melee attack with wide range Machine buster cannon (weak point)
Slow turn rate.

The mouth covers the buster cannon (weak point)
Head with strong melee attack.

Attack strategy:
1) Keep your distance
2) Evade the Buster Cannon
3) Counter attack while the Buster cannon is exposed.

Staff Comments Ishihara: Simply put, this is so cool!!

Jurogoidii[]

Creator: Servbot #Unknown (Graham)

Details:
The Jurogoidii is a large, 4-legged, very round Reaverbot! It is very slow while using its 4 legs. The real enemy is once the Jurogoidii stands on its hind legs, forms a ball, and rolls after the player, like a boulder, much like the Mammoo. (The Jurogoidii is invulnerable while rolling), However, unlike the Mammoo, it won't stop rolling until it hits a wall, in which it becomes vulnerable.

Usually appears in narrow hallways, so it's tougher to escape. Some versions can slightly tilt towards the player, and appear in open rooms.

Kaetoriizu[]

Creator: Servbot #267 (Raijin K.)

Collaborators: Servbot #Unknown (Trege), Servbot #94 (Avegodro), Servbot #619 (PureWeavel), Servbot #621 (Nightshade), Servbot #Unknown (In-Clover), Servbot #2522 (Mikey), Servbot #125 (General Specific)

Details:
Kaetoriizu is a trap Reaverbot, a larger-scale Mimic. Upon approaching the treasure in a certain room, the mural behind it clamps down and the Reaverbot emerges from the architecture to battle the player. The statues open to become cannons firing homing shots, and the mouth spits bombs when opened. The weak point eye is easier to hit when the mouth is closed, but the mouth closes only momentarily when triggered. This could work well as either a single event battle, or a common occurrence in ruins mixed in with similar un-trapped displays to keep players guessing.

Extra Comments: It's astonishing how one simple idea could evolve into something such as this. More so, how the Kaetoriizu could inhabit the shrine of a real or fake Refractor, conceal a Treasure Chest, or simply lay as a trap hiding a sought out door behind it.-PureWeavel

Ruins are generally unwelcome to begin with, but there were never really any good protectors for the real treasure chests and door/console keys. This Reaverbot when faced for the first time, hopefully early on in the game, will imbue mild hesitation in a player who doesn't want to encounter it, or a greater sense of alertness for the "Treasure Hunter personality typed players. -PureWeavel

Personally, from its conception I believe this Reaverbot to be a worthy guard of treasure. The original Mimics launched bombs in front of it, the walking Mimics just ran back and forth when approached, but the Kaetoriizu will be surprising and large enough to be intimidating, and fights like an actual Reaverbot.-PureWeavel

The name is based on haetorisou, Japanese for Venus fly-trap. Nightshade picked it out. The working title was originally "lure-trap reaverbot", and then "CGL" based on a comment by Weavel that noted the resemblance to a clam with legs.-Raijin

Getting caught in the clamping-down trap isn't instantly lethal, but naturally causes some hefty damage. I imagine it pressing down on Megaman, then spitting him out as the mouth opens again. I originally had all this in the comments section but it got cut to keep the word count under 100. Hope its self-explanatory.-Raijin

Earlier drafts had the bait on a higher pedestal with stairs that would turn into a ramp both to repel the player and to roll out bombs which would be produced from a hole in the pedestal. In the end I wanted to keep the bomb-spitting as an homage to the Mimics, though I guess I didn't make it very clear where the bombs are coming from now that the pedestal with the hole is gone. Now the hole opens up on the "tongue", which I hope is sufficiently implied by the trajectory in the last image.-Raijin

If you noticed, the trap is always against a wall--in the case of a refractor dummy or trap chest, you'd just need to be cautious around any trap items against a wall. The statues are also a dead give-away in any sense, and either way the player would be better off always keeping a good watch on his surroundings than letting up. I personally want my ruins to put on the pressure, and to even make a bit scared in the process.–General Specific

Staff Comments: Again we have a design that blends in with its surroundings perfectly, this one acting as a trap that imitates a dungeon room. We really wanted to see this battle go down, with the Reaverbot taking advantage of people's greed and then mocking them as it chomped down.

Kerberion[]

Creator: Servbot #515 (Alberto Bedoschi)

Details:
Kerberion is a large reaverbot based on the "Cerberus", the guardian of hell. I thought this to be great cause also reaverbots are guardians, and this matches at perfection with the reaverbot role. Kerberion attacks with his 3 heads (one uses normal energy shoots, one spreads fire, the last one laser beams). He is quite fast and attacks just with 1 head and then changes to another and so on. Once in a while he attacks with all the heads simultaneously. To defeat him the player must destroy one head after the other and he can choose from which one.

He has three life bars, one for each head.

Each head has a unique kind of attack.

Kessel[]

Creator: Servbot #Unknown (Dr. Jerk)

Kessel

Details:
Kessels are tank-like Reaverbots that have eyes and hatches on all sides between their legs, and move slowly. After spotting a target, a hatch on one side can quickly reveal a gun that fires an explosive projectile before going back inside. It's only vulnerable spot is its gun when left out.

Kiringaa[]

Creator: Servbot #919 (Andy)

Details:
A Kirin-type Reaverbot. The antler ring on its head generates a dangerous energy beam. Though it appears graceful, it can create terrifying shock waves when it rears back.

Extra Comments: I was hoping for something only loosely animal-like in form, but still clearly a machine. The focal point is exactly what I intended with the ring on its head. As for not being intimidating...sometimes a sudden attack from something large, powerful, and all around eerie is more intimidating than something clearly ready to attack.

I've uploaded some attack sequence art so you can see a size comparison. I thought it should be pretty big, since the guidelines ask for a large reaverbot. It could be scaled down, though.

I'm hoping the devs like it.

Krinbeshel[]

Creator: Servbot #1253 (fAB)

Details:
Small eyes located around its shell allow it to see in all directions.

It lies silently until approached and can take damage only once it begins to move.*

When active the spiked tier on its shell rotates.

Krinbeshel is slow on its feet but has remarkable defense and endurance.

It attacks with swings and stabs of its sharp and powerful legs.

It can also launch [small reaverbots, projectiles or smokescreen, developer's choice] from the opening on its back.

Grenade type special weapons can be tossed into its back from a distance for an instant kill.

Kroboshok[]

Creator: Servbot #2256 (Jared)

Collaborator: Servbot #804 (Oni)

Details:
Kroboshok is a blind, armored Reaverbot. It can only see you when its “cautious” head comes out and looks around for you. When spotted, Kroboshok's head spins around to reveal a “Rage” face. The head then retracts into the body, opens its pincers, and fires bombs at your last location, pauses, and then runs there. If you are too close, it will slam its head down instead. After the assault, it returns to its “search” mode. You can also kick Kroboshok's head into its pincers before it sees you. The head and open top are weak points.

Extra Comments: This Reaverbot is a collaborative effort with Creator: Servbot #804 (username: Oni). We are both avid Legends fans and this was a lot of fun just to design.

The name "Kroboshok" comes from the idea that this Reaverbot is designed to "shock" by luring you in with its coy and innocent looking blue colored face and suddenly whip around when it senses you are near, revealing a scary "rage" face, and also because it slams down and sends out a "shockwave”.

The "Krobo" part of the name comes from the words "robo" and "crab" because we first imagined it being crab-like, similar to Tron Bonne's first mecha from Legends 1. However, once we fleshed out the concept, it's actually more like a strange turtle than a crab.

We really had a lot of fun just making it. We put a bit of thought into how it works and tried going for a clever design that needed some thinking, but isn't too difficult to figure out, rather than a simple "dodge and shoot" reaverbot. That method of fighting still applies, but if you're daring enough to get up close and think outside the box, it would make the fight easier and more fun. I just hope they don't remove the kick feature from battle like they did in Legends 2. That would kinda make a large part of the boss' appeal pointless.

EDIT: It has recently come to my attention that a friend of mine also submitted an entry, ("King Kroggorog") that also uses a 3D Volnutt model I made. I want to stress that his entry is separate from mine, and that he has permission to use the Volnutt model I made, though the model of the Reaverbot was made entirely by him.

Kroggorog[]

Creator: Servbot #2515 (Rikichi Tanuki)

Details:
Kroggorog is placed mainly in tunnels. It can jump and land on Mega if there is room for jumping. It can wobble side to side to turn while standing or rotate its legs powered by an explosion at the foot and whip its head around as an attack while laying down. When its controller is destroyed it goes berserk and begins flailing its legs and head around. Tumble rolling and berserk causes explosions upon contact with ground. It can roll side to side. Controller Generally on Walls. Controllers, or both, could possibly have some sort of ranged attack.

Below are images, the descriptions of them aren't intended to be a part of the 100 word limit comment, nor is this one explaining that.

Picture #1: Kroggorog Profile, and Jump Attack
Picture #2: Tumble turning while laying down, spinning head around to be right side up and to attack anyone in front.
Picture #3: Lastly, explosive tumble walk roll GO!

King Kroggorog[]

Creator: Servbot #2515 (Rikichi Tanuki)

Details:
King Kroggorog is capable of extending and retracting any of its 4 legs, and swivel its head around the bar that its legs are attached to. It can climb / latch onto walls, ceilings, and jump. Bottom of each leg can produce explosions or energy blasts to throw at Megaman. Kroggorog is not capable of receiving damage directly without first destroying the control signal emitter(s). For every control emitter destroyed Kroggorog becomes more wild and enraged, once all are destroyed, it begins flailing wildly causing explosions, and can take direct damage.

Extra Comments: The Volnutt model used in the images was created by Creator: Servbot #002256 (Username: Jared)

Kumoshiru[]

Creator: Servbot #2343 (mega rock.exe)

Details:
Kumoshiru, a heavily-armored Reaverbot, uses its shielded front legs to block its weak spot on its chest. It walks forward slowly but the player shouldn't be able to stand behind it yet. When the player is close, Kumoshiru will attempt to stomp on the player. If the player is far away it will attack using a laser coming from its eye and its weak spot. Both attacks leave it vulnerable to attacks and the player must hit the weak spot until it is defeated. Kumoshiru will also dash across the stage and crash into the other wall halfway into the room.

Kyuushi[]

Creator: Servbot #1427 (Tsp)

Lantorn[]

Creator: Servbot #2331 (Raltz)

Lantorn

Details:
This large reverbot is an odd one indeed. Its eye rests in a seemingly separate body contained within a transparent sphere, which rests upon the reverbot's torso. It has four (4) legs. Two very large bulky legs, and two much smaller legs which hang from the back of the torso. Other notable features are the strange lantern that it uses as its primary weapon. (It hangs from the body.)

Licker[]

Creator: Sevbot #2355 (家毅 (IeAtsushi))

Details:
Blind and agile reaverbot. When hunting the enemies, tail detects sounds, stomach detects vibration, and tongue defers allies and enemies' smell. Wrap enemies with long tongues to absorb energy. Jump slash enemies with sharp claws, but causes the stomach (the only weak point) vulnerable to attacks. Tail separates from the body after being shot off or body being destroyed, then transforms into a laser satellite which can't be destroyed and keeps shooting enemies until they leave the area. Lickers prefer to gang up against enemies although they are large in size. The laser satellites can still function even though all lickers are defeated.

Extra Comments: It will call up allies if you hit any part of its body, the allies can do combo attacks like wrapping you together to multiple damage or while one is wrapping you the other one jumps and slams you.

What's the most annoying is its tail, because after you shoot down it by several hits, or you destroy its main body after you hit its stomach many times, the tail will separate and transform into a laser satellite which keeps locking on to Megaman and attacks until Megaman enters the next area. If there is only one licker left in this situation is okay, but what if many lickers are still there? You have to evade all the lickers and the laser satellites at the same time.

Staff Comments: Normally having so many different attacks weakens the design's impression, but I enjoyed imagining this thing unleashing one attack after the next, making MegaMan's life miserable. I can tell you had a lot of fun drawing and creating this.

Lolow[]

Creator: Servbot #2228 (Id)

Details:
Lolow is a large Reaverbot with a head that has almost a complete spherical range of motion. Its slack jaw wobbles up and down when walking and lumbar about in patrol. Although its head is very shaky in motion, it’s extremely accurate when stationary, and attacks with an eye mounted freezing beam. It’s best to try to knock Lolow’s head off aim rather than trying to dodge its beam. Lolow will attempt to immobilize its target with ice, and then ram the target by unlocking rollers at the bottom of each leg.

Extra Comments: I'm by far not the best designer, and this event actually taught me a lot. My reaverbot started out as an onion-like shape actually.

Here was a doodle of concepting: (Picture 2)

I liked organic shapes, but the feet rocket things were way too mech like. I had to stare at this image for the longest time to begin to get something like a Reaverbot.

I hope a lot of entries make it into the finals, because just from judging how much time I spent, I'm sure a lot of people spent equally if not more time. Lots of great entries this time around... I look forward to the next contest!

Lot[]

Creator: Servbot #204 (Window)

Lot

Details:
-Likes to remain in groups.
-Will usually flee to the safety of a group if engaged.
-Devastating in large numbers, they will systematically lunge through the air blades forward, taking turns to strike.
-Best handled at a distance or with AOE weaponry.

Mantichron[]

Creator: Servbot #2313

Details:
Based on the mythical Manticore, this Reaverbot patrols open spaces in the ruins. It has powerful claws to tear and pierce foes. Its wings let it float near ceilings to drop onto prey unexpectedly. While it mostly charges straight at its enemy, its snake tail also spits fireballs in any direction, keeping Diggers on their toes at all times. It announces its presence with a haunting feral scream that can be heard several floors above and below.

Matryo[]

Creator: Servbot #809 (Simon)

Details:
Matryo is my new submission (didn't realize there was a mantis in Megaman X), so I decided to have a go at making a reaverbot in Max.

Matryo has 4 bladed legs, and his body pops open into two sections (like a Russian Matryoshka doll) to reveal expanding/contracting spinning circular blades inside.

Merkabah[]

Creator: Servbot #2316 (Paulo Guilherme)

Merkabah

This robot has three heads: one central and vigilant, and another below the first, and that possesses the ability to launch an energy beam, and another located in the tail, with the capacity to aspire.

Murasakuma[]

Creator: Servbot #Unknown (Gumfer)

Details:
Reaverbot Codename: Murasakuma (short for purple demon)

Dear Ms.Tron,

I'm so sorry. We lost the key.

A large reaverbot took it. It looked small at first, but it made giant legs from surrounding pillars and grew a force-field.

It disassembles scrapped robots and throws them at us. Then occasionally makes shock-waves by stomping.

These actions drain its force-field. When the force-field dropped, we attacked it. But it picked up its fallen body and threw it at us in pieces. Rebuilding it on the other side of the room. Then its force-field grew back.

Please don't hurt me.

Oborgundr[]

Creator: Servbot #Unknown (Ales)

Oborgundr

Details:
A Reaverbot that shakes the ground when it walks. Its jaw and the armor on its arms can be destroyed. It takes a small amount of damage except for its weak points in its mouth, back of the head and destroyed arm armor. It can attack by lowering its head and opening its mouth to fire a beam, by opening the armor on its neck and arms to reveal small cannons and by crushing all beneath its forearms. Its back is flat and can be ridden on. It will thrash about, but with low enough health, it will be calm.

OHunter[]

Creator: Servbot #Unknown (hj)

OHunter

Details:
A 4-piece head consisting of 2 crests, base and eye piece magnetically hovers above the body, which seems like an octagonal metallic casing around a large crystallized core.

Omnirex[]

Creator: Servbot #207 (David)

Details:
Despite its fearsome appearance, the Omnirex is a cowardly scavenger; docile unless provoked and often found in packs. Omnirexes eat refractors, and will blindly ram anything that gets between them and their next meal. Once full the reaverbot begins to glow and will flee the area. If killed before it escapes, the bot drops refractors worth far more than what it ate. A legendary digger once tried to farm Omnirexes, feeding and killing them in search of high payouts. Sadly he failed, but he was posthumously credited with the discovery that the Omnirex can eat people too.

Extra Comments: The Omnirex was my entry for the Devroom reaverbot contest. Given that it was a design contest, artistic skills well in excess of what I have would be required.

In an attempt to remedy this, I contacted a friend who can draw. Unfortunately his schedule was tight and thanks to a last minute problem (forgetting to attach the files) I received his images literally seconds before the contest deadline.

While they are not valid for submission, I post them here as a testament to his efforts.

Ouranos[]

Creator: Servbot #2511 (Boris)

Palandroid[]

Creator: Servbot #2410 (Crosseyed)

Details:
He doesn't have heavy armor so he can't shrug off attacks, however it makes up for it by constantly moving and jumping over and behind its enemies. He is roughly two times larger than most blue armored warriors with weapon based prosthetic limbs.

Extra Comments: I made it with Maya, and just started learning some stuff from school. But yea I'm horrible with anything 2D so I couldn't make my own higher quality texture so I used one from Legends 1.

Panthera[]

Creator: Servbot #45 (Ivan)

Details:
Panthera is a silent, stalking, and deadly reverbot. Its abilities include optical camouflage to blend in with its environment rendering it invisible to the naked eye. It uses its agility and swift movement to dash, jump, and run circles around its prey. Panthera's attacks range from lunges, claw slashes, to tail swipes. Footprints are the only indication that a Panthera was around. The optical camouflage is disabled temporarily after it takes a few hits from a buster gun, the optical camouflage will reset itself after Panthera shakes off the hits.

Extra Comments: Originally I was thinking of doing a lion or wolf and I was telling my old man about this contest and he suggested a panther because lions and wolves and things like that are used very often, I liked that idea and I went with the panther design.

I wanted to make it look light and very agile hence I made it very like chopped up and left out the stomach and abdomen area completely and decided to just connect it using the spine and move that thought out the picture as the common connecting denominator so like from the head to the tail you can see its spine...

When I begin coloring it I think I'm going to have the main color be like a dark blue/gray/black, kind of like gunmetal gray and then put some reverbot-ish symbols on it, and the spine I think I want to make a bright red or light blue almost glowing even. I'll see what I come up with, my coloring skills in Photoshop are not very good, I don't really know all the ins and outs yet but I'll do my best.

Pha-O-rochi[]

Creator: Servbot #507 (MegaGoemon)

Details: A boss Reaverbot, 4 stages: first you enter the treasure room and face the pharaoh tomb. Second, after hurting the tomb eye you'll face the real Pharaoh, the pillars, decorations and the treasure stand will transform into a skeletal monster controlled by the pharaoh eyeball. Third, the tomb will detach releasing Orochi (controlled by the first/orochi eyeball). Lastly, your foes are two angry eyeballs that jump around trying to hurt you... it takes one shot to destroy each, there are 8 targets/weaknesses (6 flame crystals + 2 eyeballs), weapons: lasers, charged flame shots and ram/smash.

PondaPonda[]

Creator: Servbot #647 (Toastyman)

Details:
The PondaPonda is a reaverbot meant to remain hidden among the architecture of Elysium, closed into a tower until a threat is detected. Once opened up, PondaPonda uses its enormous legs to pulverize any intruders, occasionally using the laser in its eye to get into places it can't reach. The legs are incredibly armored, nearly indestructible by conventional weapons, but the core is much more lightly armored, which is why PondaPonda will close its legs around it when it takes damage.

Predadrone[]

Creator: Servbot #2210 (vinny)

Collaborator: Servbot #507 (MegaGoemon)

Predadrone

Details:
The Predadrone is more of a mini gun-based reaverbot. The huge spinning barrel and the whirring sound are its most noticeable features. This reaverbot also has a laser pointer function. The Predadrone is capable of killing almost anyone including Megaman in mere seconds with elongated fire, so there is no hope to dodge its insane firepower. To avoid the Predadrone's minigun-like firepower, the player can take cover at the nearest object or wall. Firing at the right moment is the key to destroying it.

Rayder[]

Creator: Servbot #Unknown (… (Bruce))

Details:
Silently creeps along the walls and ceiling. Can only walk backwards. When alerted, Rayder will leap long distances toward its target. When attacked, Rayder will launch sticky bombs (released from the underside) that slowly follow the intruder and will explode five seconds after attaching. Attached Sticky Bombs do fall off when Rayder is destroyed. If you get a bomb on you, destroy Rayder before the bombs go off!

After each leap, Rayder quickly scurries back to a wall. It is quick on its feet, but it has an interesting wobble, since the 2 forelegs are not very flexible.

Reinaught[]

Creator: Servbot #1657 (Sean)

Details:
The general scheme is that he's a reaverbot who comes out of a box, exactly like a Jack in a Box. Besides the usual energy blasts seen in the previous games, I thought it'd be nifty if he could just pull bombs from the chest he was in, he also withdraws back into his box after a period after which Megaman will have to deal with other Reaverbots until he pops out again. (Legs were added to comply with the requirements).

Retsu[]

Creator: Servbot #1012 (Parker Thomas)

Retsu

Details:
Retsu are known to reside in large chambers filled with columns which its disguise matches. When intruders come close it unfolds from its stationary position and runs sideways around the target while firing upon it from the openings on the sides of its head and periodically lunging at them. Upon losing sight of its target it immediately returns to its disguise as a column. It is capable of walking on any surface including the floor, walls, ceiling, and other columns.

Extra Comments: I'm imagining a great hall lined with columns and a digger searching from the entryway to see which one is the disguised Retsu. Then as he takes a step in, SURPRISE, they are all reaverbots. Then they all start attacking at once without enough room for all of them to move. They then crash into each other causing them all to be destroyed in a cluster of flashy explosions accompanied by the sound of grinding reaverbot parts, which would be absolutely dazzling and hilarious.

RollTroll[]

Creator: Servbot #203 (R.Case/rongs1234)

Details:
RollTroll is a roller assisted reaverbot, pushing itself with its four legs it can gain impressive speed for running down diggers with a charge attack. This speed comes at a price as it becomes difficult to stop, but it is able to make sharp turns when moving slower or when stopped, making it difficult for a digger to stay in its blind spot. Each of its four legs has a blaster built in for long range attacks. Should its roller be destroyed, it can support itself with its leg, at the cost of some of its combative capabilities.

Extra Comments: In the small print of the guidelines they do say that names and designs can be changed by the Devteam if chosen, so think of the name as a temp name. Also I wanted to call it “RollTrolly” but that’s too many letters.

As for the legs, it can have them all on the ground, but it can lift them up and twist them in the direction mega man is. I was trying to show that with the pic, showing that it can have its legs down but it can lift them up to shoot.

Rolun[]

Creator: Servbot #1160 (Gabriel T.)

Details:
A Reaverbot found in slanted corridors. They switch into attack mode when the target is spotted and proceeds to initiate attack. Be careful, this thing will definitely try to crush through almost any obstacle, all for the sake of running you over! You especially don’t want to get hit by those nasty spikes.

If you do get hit, this reaverbot will explode on impact, leading to some nasty damage if you aren’t equipped with some decent armor.

Also you can try shooting it down before it hits you, but I suggest taking it on with a well-powered buster, or a well-ungraded special weapon. By the way, each hit ever-so-slightly slows down the reaverbots speed by just a little bit, maybe if you’re fast enough, you can stop it in time!

Encounter description:

  1. You walk through a door, to come to a slanted hallway, when all of a sudden, you hear a loud crash, echoing throughout the ruin… What was that?!
  2. You turn your head towards the direction of the strange noise, which has now changed to the sound of harshly grinding metal, and then you see it…
  3. Ahh! What’s that thing?! Oh boy, time to hightail it outta here! I sure hope you’re a fast runner!

By the way, on higher level difficulty settings, sometimes there may be obstacles/ enemies on the way down, be sure to avoid those too!

Attacking Form: You’ve been detected, fight or flight!

Unprovoked Form: Well, it hasn’t detected your presence yet, so now’s your chance to take it down! By the way, attacking it won’t force out its attack unless you get within its line of sight or get too close.

Extra Comments: Now a little about where this Rolun reaverbot idea came from. Personally, I loved the Indiana Jones-esque scene at the beginning of Megaman Legends, so why not introduce just another small reference to it one more? That boulder scene was really cool, and I think this might just do that some good justice!

Rombelon[]

Creator: Servbot #996 (Techno)

Details:
Rombelon stands still to seem as though it's unable to move. When an intruder is detected, it flips onto all four of its long legs and fires a warning shot from its top cannon, then turns into a windmill of squashy death. If it runs into a pillar or a wall, it will fall onto all fours and fire from its cannon while it gets its bearings. The large eye on the 'bottom' is used to watch for intruders. It has four smaller eyes between each leg to keep it on track while rolling.

Saboten[]

Creator: Servbot #Unknown (Isaias)

Details:
This Reaverbot can hide under the snow or sand, with the tail exposed and stun Megaman causing it to drop its Zennies, pick it up with the tail and eat it to regain his energy. Also can walk on any surface thanks to the spikes in his legs.

Sapponkots[]

Creator: Servbot #2323 (HF)

Sapponkots

Details:
When the player approaches a corner, these Reaverbots will suddenly appear from behind. Depending on their distance from the player, they attack by charging at them, swinging its claw arm sideways, or by using its large arm cannon (which are large shells which explode on impact).

Though big and tough, they are worn out and haywire, making their movement random and jagged.

The player can target the top half or its bottom half (legs). By destroying the legs, the Sapponkots will drop down on its face, but will continue to creep towards the player while swinging its claw arm.

Extra Comments: I admit that it may be unclear, but as for the leg issue, please check closely: it is quadruped

As for being ‘annoying’, that’s the whole point: a huge zombie out of nowhere blocking the player’s way.

One of the qualities I want to aim for is the “What the @#$&?!” factor.

Sarukkie[]

Creator: Servbot #2369 (repliroid20xx)

Sarukkie

Details:
Adorable from the side and damn right hideous face-on, Sarukkie is an ape Reaverbot. Sarrukie can only move by hopping on its useless rear legs, but should not be underestimated as it can spin about to KO any threats with its massive arms and hands or even hop to cause tremors with its large body. With its usually cheerful and flamboyant demeanor, it can still become easily enraged, especially if anything enters its boundary or appears to want its property...

Sasori[]

Creator: Servbot #Unknown (Kelly)

Sasori

Details:
Sasori is Japanese for scorpion and is a giant six-legged reaverbot. This reaverbot uses its two claws to grab and crush any target. Sasori can use its sharp blades to knock an opponent away. It also has a stinger that not only can stab you, but it can also shoot a laser beam from its tip. The top part of the reaverbot is made of impenetrable steel. Its weak spots are the arms, face, or under belly. Sasori is so huge that a human of normal size will only measure up to one of its legs.

Scoress[]

Creator: Servbot #620 (Score)

Details: Its attacks are shown below. Its torso is its weak point, the back being easier to shoot. Though if you risk its attacks from the front and destroy its shield you can expose an even weaker point destroying it much faster (if you can dodge its attacks). The shield on its chest is from the museum in MML1.

Extra Comments: I didn’t take forever on this but yes I did put some time into the line weight and variation. I thought the same thing about that arm attack but I keep reminding myself that at the end of the day reaverbots are pretty cartoony and just about anything goes. I actually don’t plan to color this.

Tuttle’s Legendary Travels Comments: This submission is more about the look and scare of the reaverbot so I don't have much text for you. I can see the reaverbot's weak point being on its legs if you want to fight it with the cane, but you could maybe use elements in the ruins to your advantage to make the fight go quicker. Maybe the living habits of this reaverbot make the rooms it dwells in consistently the same. I guess to elaborate, there could be loose rock on the walls that you could cause to fall on the reaverbot, the reasoning for this could be that it's so big and clumsy that it's always knocking into the walls and loosening the structure, that would give an excuse for you to always be able to count on that element when encountering this guy. EDIT: I thought I'd point out that he wears the shield from the museum in MML1 so maybe that could be a weak point, like he leaned to the ground to snap at you.

I don't care how you use it in the end though, I just hope my design makes it into the game.

Glad to have been chosen as a winner! I agree it'll be hard to figure out how Tuttle will be able to fight this guy, but I gave a few suggestions in my entry and you guys are clever folk. I'm looking forward to however the redesign turns out and eventually seeing this sucker in the game. Ready for the next contest!

Scorpiosar[]

Creator: Servbot #2404 (mac_jsus)

Details:
It has a scorpion tail with a drill on it, the red spikes adjacent to the tip of tail can be fired, and it slashes with its legs as well. The symbols light up when it engages in combat. It is fairly larger than Megaman and has an analogous color scheme with some yellow-green.

Sentreped[]

Creator: Servbot #Unknown (Calvin)

Sentreped

A centipede reaverbot that patrols the ruins extensively, using its legs to climb walls and ceilings. When it encounters a digger, Sentreped makes a loud rattling noise to alarm other reaverbots in the area about the intruder. It attacks by swinging its long body. If its midsection is destroyed before it's defeated, the head will attempt to wiggle away.

Smearcian[]

Creator: Servbot #2384 (Brian)

Details:
Smearcian takes its job seriously. However, what's the point if you don't have fun while doing your job? Smearcian is a jovial Reaverbot who gets easily bored protecting ruins and delights in tormenting the would-be excavators and diggers. Smearcian bats about his opponents playfully while leaving the opponent thinking it may have a chance of winning.

Smearcian's shoulder plates flutter about, insectoid like, while stalking and/or playing. It will also dismount from its main hiding place, the ceiling, either via slinking down dramatically if detected, or if remaining undetected with its alternate dismount, sneaking behind its prey.

Staff Comments: Very cool design along with very cool movements. I can envision an agile, formidable Reaverbot with geometrical attack patterns.

Spidower[]

Creator: Servbot #142 (AncientShine)

Spidower

Details:
A security reaverbot with intimidating size and firepower. It can shoot a laser from its eye that can hit almost anything that isn't behind its legs or above it. Its head can move its position independently without causing the rest of the body to move. The head is the main weak spot with its legs being immune to damage. Despite its large size, it has somewhat fast and very aggressive movements.

Stakkhan[]

Creator: Servbot #1515 (Alex (Avallon1))

Details:
My reaverbot is a common one that wanders around in corridors. He has the same appearance like the Fingerii in Legends 2 (you can only see the red eye from the distance)

He can fire energy balls.

His only weak spot is the head.

Stompclaw[]

Creator: Servbot #1429 (Carl)

Details:
This Reaverbot’s body is invulnerable to attack, but the head can be damaged. The antler-like hands protruding from its head block projectiles fired from ground level. If Megaman can reach higher ground the hands will attack, leaving the head exposed. The hands will attempt to knock Megaman down to ground level or grab him so that the head can bite him.

Once the head has taken enough damage the neck joint is destroyed and the head becomes a separate enemy, rolling or hopping to move. The body continues to stomp invincibly around the arena until the head is defeated.

Suikomu[]

Creator: Servbot #401 (Keegan406)

Details:
-Slow mover

-Has large health

-Attack it anywhere

-Attacks by first lowering its head to the ground and then opening its mouth and inhaling, drawing the player in closer (similar to Megaman's Vacuum Arm).

-When within range, it stomps the ground creating blast waves (similar to the Feldynaught) which the player will have to jump over to avoid.

-It could be stationed at the end of hallways, not moving, or in large rooms where it will roam freely, but slowly, towards the player using the before mentioned attacks, as well as tossing bombs (uses bombs only in large, open spaces).

Extra Comments: Edit: I didn't make the connection until people started commenting but I guess it does look sort of frog-like. I was trying to make it look sort of like my mom's old vacuum cleaner bag.

Texil[]

Creator: Servbot #1847 (Goldbott)

Details:
This reverbot has been sighted scuttling from the dark corners of the ruins. It's known to attack by charging its target, and its ample shielding makes it difficult to take down. A few direct hits in its head may do the trick, but when damaged this enemy is known to sit back on its hind legs and attack from a machine gun in its chest. It has an impressive array of eyes and one on the bottom of its cylindrical head to allow it to see when using the machine gun.

Tiniti[]

Creator: Servbot #820 (aoi)

Details:
A reaverbot that has two large and small legs. Usually likes to lurk around narrow corridors. When it detects an intruder, it will fold up the smaller legs before shooting the wrecking ball to attack (type B). It also spins its head and does short distance charging (type A). Shooting its eyes can inflict more damage than other parts. But it will spin the head too to avoid getting shot.

Tokokot[]

Creator: Servbot #712 (Takeyomi)

Details:
A reaverbot made of twin halves, connected at the center. It can shoot fireballs from the holes in its arms. Otherwise tries to smash its targets. It can walk on all four of its arms and spin both halves of its body independently.

The top and bottom of the reaverbot can suck Mega Man and other objects into itself and shoot them out of its opposite end.

The reaverbot can also split itself in two and reconnect its two halves as it pleases. It can still use its vacuum attack when split.

Tombstagga[]

Creator: Servbot #1271 (Geoners (gunfriffon-geona))

Details:
Is it a demon tombstone? The guard of a tomb? Maybe the embodiment of a lost warrior?

It tends to remain shelled most of the time, opening only to fire its barrage of guns. Its eyes and internal body are very weak. If it is blinded, it frenzies and becomes vulnerable. It likes to fly around its enemies, usually assuming a commander role. Otherwise, it fires very powerful beams at its opponent. Its flight engines behind its eyes are vulnerable, so shoot them to knock it out of the air! It can change shape to walk, but falls over easily.

Extra Comments: It's not easy to pose this honestly. I didn't set up a skeleton or anything that would make it easier. A shame, because I really would like to do some diagrams. I guess I can change the description a bit, but I'm not sure if they'd consider that warranting a new thread or not. (I find that part of this contest rather baffling).

Torigoric[]

Creator: Servbot #Unknown (ShadowGoo)

Details:
Torigori can be found slowly patrolling ruins searching for intruders. The top part of their head can rotate, and is almost always slowly rotating to scan for intruders. If they spot an intruder, they will immediately start emitting a loud, high-pitched call for help. As the reinforcements come surging in, the Torigori itself will fall back and attack you from afar with a precise laser beam fired from its mouth. Fortunately, due to its tall stature, it has difficulty seeing anything almost directly under it. It's thus possible to avoid being seen by following it slowly and closely.

Tortuga[]

Creator: Servbot #1624 (Ryan)

Details:
A defensively oriented Reaverbot modeled after a tortoise. It attacks by manipulating the pieces of its shell via magnetism in order to either push the enemy away or to spin around its body rapidly, slicing the opponent in two. Its weak points are the hole from which it sees, and the antenna. Hitting the antenna multiple times will cause Tortuga to lose control of its shell and become exposed. After taking heavy damage, it will discard its shell by launching the pieces in various directions. Doing so gives it more mobility, but makes it completely vulnerable.

Trebeloor[]

Creator: Servbot #Unknown (Mr. Baryl)

Details:
Trebeloor is a guardian reaverbot that resembles a Wolf, equipped with a reinforced helmet that makes all frontal attacks useless and with a flamethrower on its tail that keeps intruders away. This reaverbot is also quite fast, being able to do wall jumps to attack with their electrified claws (2).

Its Reaverbot eye is guarded by their hard helmets, normal buster shots can't get through the helmet but a heavy weapon can.

Trebeloors will normally guard doors in packs (1) and rarely tend to wander alone (3).

Trembler[]

Creator: Servbot #2184 (pugfarts)

Details:
Tremblers sit alone deep in the ruins, perfectly still. So still that you can't even lock onto him in his stationary state! Just don't get too close, he'll start rattling and shaking about violently and will want nothing less than to bludgeon Megaman into a fine powder! Run for it! If you get far enough away, maybe he'll forget you're there and go back to meditating...

The goal is to make the player immediately want to flee in terror due to the Trembler's sudden disturbing movements, its durability and erratic movement contributes as well.

Triggerii-Mimic[]

Creator: Servbot #Unknown (Mason)

Details:
Appearance: Megaman! This Reaverbot has the best disguise, the disguise works like the Sharukurusu ability to fade in and out of their surroundings Triggerii-mimic can cast an image while fading the rest of his body out giving him the appearance of the Legendary Trigger. The torn cloak covers the parts that can't cast the image, the reaverbot has been in the ruins a long time and at its ends it uses broken reaverbots to maintain itself.

Basic Move-Set: At the simple beginning of the battle he walks forward then starts using his Roller dash as his main means of moving his attacks are based between the Blade-arm and his buster. In True form movements don't change by much, just attacks become more aggressive, blade-arm attacks are 2 to 3 strikes if missed target he attacks with his buster after each attack. His attacks are done while moving in Roller dash after the 3rd attack he stops moving to cool-down.

Specific Formations: Triggerii-mimic is the same height as the Sharukurusu (green model)

Strategy and Tactics: In his Trigger state he'll often jump up to the ceiling sticking the blade-arm in it and start firing his buster, also his roller dash gives him the advantage of mobility so he'll mostly attack with his blade-arm while approaching if he misses the target then he'll fire his buster from behind. While in Trigger state he's harder to and doesn't take much damage, that's where the Fire Horokko comes in. To knock Triggerii-mimic out of trigger state he has to be burned, the fire makes him visible in his true form. In this form he takes more damage, movements are the same but more aggressive attacking with blade-arm and then jumping to the ceiling and firing more powerful shots.

Zenny Drops: 10,000

Usual Habitat: Moving around the ruins not too far from the area where the battle is.

Special Notes: I know my design isn't by the rules and I know it will be deleted as the rules stated so why did I post it, to be honest I just wanted to show how much I was looking forward to this event and I just wanted to show my idea. I’m sorry but I’m glad I got to submit this thank you.

Extra Comments: To be honest I wasn’t happy with the true form, I really liked most of the entries I saw. That's why I didn’t change my design. I just wanted to show my idea and I’m really glad I did. I feel like I won because a lot of you liked it. That’s what I was hoping for. Thank you all again. I hope one of your Reaverbot wins.

TriggerMad[]

Creator: Servbot #1775 (Alex)

Details:
Melee Attacks: TriggerMad will swipe at targets with his arms if they come close.

Ranged Attacks:

-Firing small blasts out of his hands in any direction

-Firing a large laser beam out of his eye. Since his head is levitating it tracks targets, however his own armor will block the laser unless he is facing them head on.

-Launch small bots off his shoulders that will try to grab targets to slow them down.

The only way to hurt TriggerMad is to attack his head. Since TriggerMad’s armor surrounds everything but the front he has to be attacked head on.

Ulutuk[]

Creator: Servbot #1851 (ElegyOfDirge)

Details:
The Ulutuk is a reaverbot that wields two heavy back legs that can drop rolling bombs that follow the opposed and two sharp frontal legs that can not only strike fiercely at its opponent but also extract a painful electrical current from its spiked feet. There are eight tentacles that can fire small energy pellets, throttle its enemy aside or even grab and pull the enemy towards it for a closer attack, and when halted in a set praying position it can give off a pulsating force field that will reflect any bullets fired at it back at the opponent.

Urgond[]

Creator: Servbot #2345 (Sean (Hypergon))

Urgond

Details:
Attack 1: Urgond will try to stab the player with its legs if the player gets too close.

Attack 2: legs can detach from Urgond then follow and shoot plasma beams at the player.

Weakness: Urgond’s central dangling body. However the player must destroy at least 3 of its legs to destabilize and make Urgond fall over. However Urgond’s legs often shield the torso whenever the player fires directly at it. Both detached and attached legs can move to shield the torso. When Urgond falls over he flails his little feet around irately and Urgond becomes defenseless.

Vertigo[]

Creator: Servbot #204 (Window)

Details:
A seemingly docile tower of metal, it slowly tip-toes its way around its domain, its pendulum swaying gently from side to side. The closer you get, the faster the pendulum swings, until it gains enough momentum to swing overhead. The pendulum's weight then drops into the shaft and flames spew from the opening directed at the floor, engulfing a wide area in white-hot fire. The pendulum then returns to its original position and opens to release excess heat. While the reaverbot "breathes" a long tongue uncoils out of its mouth, which has been confirmed a weakness.

Extra Comments: I had this idea on paper many months ago, before I even knew RoE2 existed. Was originally inspired by the Half-Life creature - Gonarch.

Vlad[]

Creator: Servbot #2385 (Invader Dan)

Collaborator: Servbot #2525 (Ray)

Details:
Scorpion with a cobra tail and a severed head for a body. Destroying both the cobra’s and scorpion’s head will kill Vlad.

Tail launches a shower of missiles. Sometimes, the cobra shoots an ice beam from its mouth, temporarily leaving the floor slippery. Cobra's turrets are rapid-fire and can be destroyed. Cobra closes hood for shield and for blunt tip of Vlad's tail whip.

Scorpion head swivels sideways while breathing fire. It also strikes with retractable sickles. Mouth closes to shield the scorpion's head. Vlad's charges forward with mouth closed.

Nostril turrets are grenade launchers. They too are destructible.

Zakubaku[]

Creator: Servbot #Unknown (Evan Kester)

Details:
This reaverbot hides underground, showing only the false bird on its head until it's disturbed by an unwary digger. Its bird head will sing songs, and perhaps taunt intruders. If an intruder gets close, or damages the bird, the Zakubaku will awaken and attack by bursting out of the ground and lunging at the digger. Once active it circles the room, shooting sparks from its tails and trying to bite the digger. Zakubaku becomes much more aggressive if a digger steals a refractor from the ruins, even shooting pellets from its bird head.

Zugale[]

Creator: Servbot #135 (ReaverGrand)

Details:
Zugale is best described as a mobile sentry turret or cannon. The Zugale upon discovery is often at first planted deep into the ground where only its head and cannon are visible. If the player is able to get close to the Zugale it panics and uproots itself to flee and replant itself into the ground at a distance to attack again. However rare there are a few Zugale that will not plant themselves into the ground at all, and will not run in fear. These Zugale are vulnerable at all times, but they are also always mobile as well.
