Mega Man: Fully Charged Issue 1 is the first issue in the Mega Man: Fully Charged miniseries published by BOOM! Studios.

Official solicitation[]

It's a new beginning for the worldwide culture phenomenon featuring heroes like Mega Man, Rush and Dr. Light trying to save Silicon City from the villainous forces of the Robot Masters, set in the world of the Mega Man: Fully Charged TV series. After Mega Man's father Dr. Light is kidnapped, a shocking truth rocks Mega Man's world as it seems the Robot Masters know more about his secret history than he does. When Mega Man's forgotten memories of the brutal human/robot war are triggered, our hero is left to question just who he is and if he can trust anything or anyone-including the man he calls father. Don't miss a perfect jumping on point for long time fans and new readers as A.J. Marchisello & Marcus Rinehart, with artist Stefano Simeone examine the cost of being a hero, and what it truly means to be human.[2]

Story[]

Six months have passed after Breaker Night's arrest. The Robot Masters started raising an army in Sector 33, the Badlands, and Dr. Light was sent to broker peace, but their leader, Skull Man, is not interested in negotiating, wanting to make of Dr. Light an example for those who oppose robots. As diplomacy failed, Dr. Light secretly gives a signal for Mega Man to appear, with Mega Man attacking the robots surrounding the doctor to free him. When they attempt to leave, Skull Man hits Mega Man's head and makes him see a vision of the Hard Age, Mega Man and Dr. Light being heavily armed and fighting an army of robots. Skull Man tells Mega Man that another Hard Age is approaching, and that he should pick a side. Dr. Light fights against Skull Man to release Mega Man, and tells him that he lost the Hard Age and will lose now again. Rush appears and separates them, taking Dr. Light and Mega Man away. While returning, Mega Mini says he is not feeling well due to what Skull Man did. Mega Man tells Light about the vision Skull Man made him see, and Dr. Light nervously tells him that it was just one of Skull Man's tricks.

Back at the Lighthouse, Dr. Light starts examining Mega Mini. Mega Man changes back into Aki Light and talks with Suna about what happened, having doubts if the vision Skull Man showed him was real, wanting to know more about the Hard Age, but Light always avoids talking about it. Suna tells him he can't trust something that came from Skull Man, but also says that Dr. Light is not the only authority on the Hard Age. After doing some research, she suggests Aki to talk with Wily, who will host a lecture about the Hard Age in the Silicon City University. Outside, Namagem is observing them, saying that Mega Man doesn't know what is coming, and that he could not stop it even if he did.
