Ran Igarashi (五十嵐ラン Igarashi Ran) is a character in Rockman.EXE Axess. She is the operator of WindMan.EXE.
History[]
Ran appears stopping WindMan from attacking Rockman, Roll and IceMan after they're blown far away in the cyberworld after Netto Hikari uses a Toppuu chip bearing WindMan's emblem on it, telling him they should hear the trio out before marking them as enemies. She introduces herself to the Navis as the priestess of the temple on Shīsā Island. Netto and his friends arrive on Shīsā Island shortly after where Ran meets them and introduces herself. Netto shows her the Toppuu chip with WindMan's emblem and she explains the chip contains the sealed power of the Wind God which disappeared from their temple years ago, which is revealed to have been stolen by Yamitaro Higure. She drives them to the temple where she states the temple is where the island's guardian deity lives, and that they cyberworld has a special barrier isolating it from the rest of the world. She states she knew Netto and his friends were coming due to the Wind God's guidance. She explains how the island came to be and that the god Shīsā protects them. WindMan informs her viruses have intruded in the cyberworld and she and the others go to stop them. She goes into the inner sanctuary of the temple where she encounters Yuriko Ozono, who has stolen the Shīsā statue. Yuriko kicks a jar of sake at her, knocking her out and intoxicating her. Ran wakes up in a drunken stupor and reveals that even when she's drunk she is an excellent operator. She and the others return the Shīsā statue to the temple, calming the storm that had formed due to its absence, and sobers up. Ran and the others watch as the weather clears, and celebrate.
