LINE Corporation

LINE Corporation, formerly known as NHN Japan, is a Tokyo-based subsidiary of Softbank Group and Naver Corporation. The company's business is mainly associated with the development of mobile applications and Internet services, particularly the freeware communication application LINE, which began as a disaster response. In March 2011, the Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami damaged Japan's telecommunications infrastructure nationwide, obliging employees at NHN Japan to rely on Internet-based resources to communicate. The company's engineers developed LINE to facilitate this, and the company released their app for public use in June 2011, later becoming one of Japan's most popular messaging applications. The app is also available in other countries, being popular in Taiwan and Thailand.

The LINE app has several original characters featured in stickers for chats, and these characters are also featured in games created by the company, such as LINE Rangers. The LINE app also features stickers from other companies, releasing stickers from the Mega Man franchise.

Rockman

LINE released two limited sets of Rockman stickers, one with illustrations in 2016, and one with pixel art in 2017. Some of the stickers were animated and had audio.

During the Mega Man collaboration on November 2017, players could obtain eight limited free stickers for the app.

CoroCoro Comic All Stars

As part of the 40th anniversary of CoroCoro Comic in 2017, the LINE app had fourty stickers with CoroCoro Comic characters designed by Sanrio in Japan, including two Rockman.EXE stickers.
