I've noticed that a few "fan pages" (fanfictions, "e-mails", etc...) have deletion template on them while some do not. I've learned about this wiki's fanon counterpart and I was wondering if Fan stuff should/is being deleted from this site. I mean since there is already a separate wiki for all this stuff why not just move them and make this wiki more official.

MC Hammer Bro.

I think it should be deleted, besides some of the VERY few that have become very popular. Such as, the low budget MegaMan movie. I'm not sure if this is still really popular, since I saw this in production years ago already, but other fan stuff just doesn't belong on Wikis. I'm not saying it from a point of authority, I'm saying it from experience in other Wikis. In terms of random guests coming in and promoting their own stuff (which I deleted one not too long ago), I guess the only thing to do is slap a deletion template on them. I agree, removing fan stuff is a good idea. MC Hammer Bro.
I especially think the "fan games" and "fanstuff:media" should just be gotten rid of completely, as well as MegaMan: Triple Threat and MegaMan: Unlimited. I understand that things like the Famicom'ed RockMan 7 and Bob and George would get their own little page, but what is MegaMan Triple Threat? If someone wants to make a valiant effort to make their well developed game know to the point where you can't visit a MegaMan site without hearing about it, then I'd say it's worthy. As a sysop myself, I deleted some of the pages, but I haven't deleted Mega Man films, and such. I deleted most of the fanstuff belonging to other users. --Vzing 13:09, January 1, 2010 (UTC)
Thanks Vzing for taking up the job. MC Hammer Bro.
