Giga Crush (ギガクラッシュ Giga Kurasshu), also known as Giga Crash, is a full-screen attack originating from the Mega Man X games that causes damage to all enemies seen on-screen.
The Giga Crush becomes available for Mega Man X when he equips the Body Parts from his armor in Mega Man X2 and Mega Man Xtreme 2, which is found in the Light Capsule in Morph Moth's stage in Mega Man X2 and in Launch Octopus' stage in Mega Man Xtreme 2. The Body Parts convert the damage X takes from enemies into energy, and when its gauge is full, the accumulated energy can be released all at once as a powerful attack that damages all enemies visible on the screen. Usually the best way to charge the Giga Crush's gauge is by deliberately taking damage.
The Glide Armor inherited the Giga Crash, having a performance similar to the previous version.
The Giga Crash is available to a complete Icarus Armor set, which works the same way as previous Giga Crash attacks. The Giga Crash's gauge can recharge as long as X is active in the field (switching him out halts the charge process). The ability can be used even if the energy gauge isn't completely full, only with less effective results, the Giga Crash's power and range being reduced.
- The Giga Crush is available for Second Armor X in Rockman X DiVE.
- In Mega Man ZX Advent, Mega Man Model A uses a Giga Crush as its special ability.
- In Rockman Xover, OVER-1 can use a "Giga Crash" that destroys all on-screen enemies. He continues moving forward steadily while executing the attack, and then must wait until the cooldown expires before using it again.
- Although Axl doesn't receive a Giga Crash, some of the attacks he can use while transforming into some Mega Man X: Command Mission bosses (ex: Silver Horn, Mach Jentra, Rafflesian, Incentas) can hit all enemies at once.
