"Straight rocket punch."
―In game Pause Menu, Mega Man Maverick Hunter X
"A rocket punch sends your fist flying to teach enemies a lesson."
―In-game text, Mega Man Maverick Hunter X

Go-Getter Right (ゴーゲッターライト Gō Gettā Raito) is an Arm-type rocket punch weapon that Vile obtains by defeating Spark Mandrill in Mega Man Maverick Hunter X. This weapon behaves like the Mega Arm from the Mega Man series, except the fist only inflicts damage when going out. Go-Getter Right has only about a half-screen range, however the damage it inflicts is fairly decent. The player can only have one fist on the screen at once, so it cannot be rapid-fired.

Go-Getter Right is Armored Armadillo's weakness, and in Free Play Mode, X takes a considerable amount of damage from this weapon as well.

Defeating Spark Mandrill will grant Vile with both Go-Getter Right and Rumbling Bang.

Etymology[]

  • Go-Getter Right refers to the term "go-getter" meaning someone who is aggressively enterprising (such as Vile's campaign to surpass X), along with the fact that it is a right-handed punch.
