Gravity Beetle ("Gravity Beetbood" in Japan) is a Maverick in Mega Man X3, and according to the series storyline, is the brother of Boomer Kuwanger. He leaps about in his chamber at the end of Aerial Aircraft Carrier and sends out spheres. Ray Splasher is his weakness, so shoot and evade. If he gets too close to X, use the walls to climb and evade.
