Guardian (ガーディアン Gādian) is an enemy Mechaniloid from Mega Man X7 that appears in Flame Hyenard's Lava Factory stage and in the Crimson Palace.
Guardians come in two varieties, yellow and red. The yellow Guardians are more common than the red variety and are equipped with an arm cannon, which they use to spray toxic gas. Red Guardians are twice as strong and are equipped with a claw, which they use to punch the ground and create shockwaves.
A giant yellow Guardian appears in both stages, but despite the change in scale, their HP is the same.
