Stage[]

Hard Man's stage concept art.
Hard Man's Stage takes place within and inside rocky plateaus, some of which are held up by construction beams. The main gimmick of this stage are green grates that are suspiciously aligned. When stood on, a trap will spring and trigger Wanaans to attack you from inside the grates. Wanaans are yellow eyes with sharp jaws that clamp on any intruders, and cannot be killed. They only appear in the outside sections, first on their own and later paired with Have "Su" Bees. This stage also has one room where the player is forced to use Rush Coil/Jet to progress, likely as a means of introducing the new utility to the player should they not know about it. Lastly, this is one of the 3 Robot Master stages where the player has to spar with Proto Man, though his layout is different, having a higher elevation in the middle that lessen on each side.

Valuable pickups to look out for:
E-Tank: Guarded by the 3rd and last Pickelman Bull. If you are getting it from the left, simply defeat the enemy and claim it. However, the player can also claim it from above by sliding under the enemy, going to the next room, and coming back down from the other ladder. From there, it can either be grabbed quickly before the Pickelman Bull attacks, or the player can wait for the enemy to leave and then grab it.
Break Man Fight[]
After Mega Man defeats the all Doc Robots, he is challenged to duel with Break Man, and the location seems to be in Hard Man's Stage.

Mega Man II[]

Hard Man's stage in Mega Man II.
Hard Man's Stage in the GB demake once again takes place within and inside rocky plateaus, though the mountains are a bit more jagged. The primary gimmick is once again the Wanaans, unique to this stage. As with before, they are only in the stage's beginning and ending outside sections.
