Have "Su" Bee (ハブスビィ Habu Su Bī) is a bee-like enemy in Mega Man 3 that was originally made for meteorology. It carries its beehive and drops it to send out Chibees after Mega Man. It and the Chibees appear in Hard Man's stage and the second section of Dr. Wily's castle in Mega Man 3. Have "Su" Bee behaves in a similar manner to Pipi from Mega Man 2.

Chibee[]

Chibee (チビィ Chibī) is a miniature robot bee. They always come from the nest that Have "Su" Bee drops. Unless the screen is saturated with the maximum amount of sprites, they always appear in groups of five. In the cartoon show, Captain N: The Game Master, their beehive is found in a tree without a Have "Su" Bee. Dr. Wily calls them Robo Bees.

Other media[]

Have "Su" Bees also appear in Sonic: Worlds Unite Battles Issue 1 as one of the Mega Man 3 enemies in the Sky Patrol's training room.

Etymology[]

Have "Su" Bee's Japanese name is likely a blend of「運ぶ」(hakobu, to carry) or "have",「巣」(su, hive), and "bee"; otherwise, Chibee's Japanese name is a homophonic pun between「ちび」(chibi, pipsqueak) and "bee".
