The Human Settlement

The Human Settlement (人間の集落)[1] is where the human Caravaners came after escaping from Neo Arcadia in Mega Man Zero 4. The settlement is set on the outer perimeter of the Area Zero crater, on the shores of a lake that formed there.[2] Trailers and tents are placed there and they attempt to live quietly along with nature, which has begun to return in the region, but Dr. Weil's Operation Ragnarok threatens them. It is both part of the hub area (alongside the Resistance Trailer) and the first intermission stage of the game. Zero can talk with the humans in the settlement and obtain some recipes for Chips.

As a stage[]

Human Settlement is the first intermission stage in Mega Man Zero 4. After four of the Einherjar Eight Warriors are defeated, Craft issues an attack on the camp to search for Neige.

Layout[]

The aim for this mission is to rescue the Caravaners and repel Weil's forces. There are also fires that have broken out there, possibly due to to the attack. They need to be doused out to get 100% for the stage, by using water tanks, and pumps that can be stolen using the Zero Knuckle to help extinguish the fires. As mentioned, there are four Caravaners that need to be saved to progress, found in the tents and trucks. After saving them, the player can move on to fight Craft.
