Internet (インターネット Intānetto) is the main cyberworld area from the first Mega Man Battle Network game and Rockman.EXE Operate Shooting Star. As the name implies, it is part of the Internet that spans across the entire cyberworld, however in the first game it is depicted as one universal location with multiple areas including the Undernet. The background is a mix of porcelain and ivory colors with golden "e"s rotating around and this design remains consistent in every area of the Internet and Undernet.

Internet 1 (インターネット１) is the Internet of ACDC Town, being first accessed from Lan Hikari's PC and also connecting with Internet 2, Mayl's Piano, Yai's Portrait, and Dex's PC. This area is home to the weaker viruses in the game along with a NetDealer.

Internet 2 (インターネット２) is the Internet of the Metroline, which connects Internet 1, Internet 3, and Internet 4. Several NetNavis are found in this area along with some tougher viruses than Internet 1. It is also the location of the Metroline control system which StoneMan had blocked off to delay the station's opening day.

Internet 3 (インターネット３) is the Internet of the Government Complex, which connects to Internet 2, Masa's Register, Sal's Register, Yuichiro's PC, and Undernet 5. Stronger versions of previously encountered viruses reside here along with a few NetNavis and a NetDealer that sells WoodArmor.
