Lan	It's the year 200X and it's almost like living in a video game. I am Lan Hikari and welcome to DenTech City! Where the whole city is link together through a cyber matrix that connects everything. My friends and I have these powerful handhelds called PETs that let us battle in a virtual world with our cyber warriors. They are called NetNavis, and my NetNavi is MegaMan! There is also an evil force World Three that makes havocs on the city by infecting the cyber matrix with computer viruses!
	Scenes are shown (from the next episodes): TorchMan uses Fire Arm, ElecMan using one of his attack, WackoMan finished using his Wacko Ball attack.
Lan	Along with my friends and their personal Net Warriors, Mega Man and I going to delete these viruses rids society of all chaos and crimes! Jack In! MegaMan! Power Up!

GutsMan	You No Win! (GutsMan uses his Guts Hammer against Lan's NetNavi)
	Lan's Navi jumps to dodge the waves from GutsMan's Guts Hammer. The Navi then jumps over GutsMan and flips.
GutsMan	Me number one NetNavi!
	Cuts to Lan Hikari inserting a Blaster Battle Chip into his PET.
Lan	Blaster Battle Chip! In! Download!
	Cuts to the Navi transforms his arms into a arm cannon. The Navi shots three blasters to GutsMan. Cuts to GutsMan shields himself against the shots from the Navi
GutsMan	Guts! Guts! Guts!
	Cuts to Lan Hikari insert a Cyber Sword Battle Chip into his PET
Lan	Cyber Sword Battle Chip! In! Download!
	The Navi's arm transform into a Sword. Then the Navi charges towards GutsMan but GutsMan breaks his sword with his gauntlet just before the Navi was about to slash him.
	Cuts to Dex Ogreon.
Dex	Delete him! GutsMan!
	Cuts to GutsMan hardly punches the Navi, thus severely injuring his right arm.
GutsMan	Guts!
	The Navi hits on the ground. Later he tries to get up.
Male Voice	Recreate right arm, Execute!
	Cuts to the Navi's right is about to be healed.
Lan	Stream out of there!
Dex	Not so fast!
	Cuts to GutsMan using his Guts Hammer to spawn a shock wave against the Navi. When it hits him, the Navi gets logged out.
Dex	Oh yeah! Give it up everybody! Dex wins yet again!
Boy 1	Having a customized NetNavi is the way to go!
Boy 2	Yeah, I already put mine on order!
Dex	Lan! Quit playing like a rookie or you will never be able to defeat GutsMan! [then Dex laughs]
	Cuts to a disappointed Lan groaning. Fade out to black.
	Fade into black; A scene shown in DenTech and panning to the left and then cuts to a scene of Lan Hikari walking with Maylu Sakurai, riding on her scooter, conversating.
Lan	That makes 18 NetBattles that I have lost to Dex and GutsMan.
Maylu	Yeah, I know but what do you expect when you just have a plain old NetNavi.
	Maylu's PET rings as Maylu takes it out from her belt pocket after she stopped.
	Cuts to Maylu's PET screen showing her NetNavi Roll on screen.
Roll	Maylu, calendar uplink, you have a piano lesson now.
Maylu	Oh Yeah! Thanks a lot, Roll. [turns off her PET]
Lan	If only I have a custom-made NetNavi like you.
Dex	[off-screen] Maylu!
	Cuts to Dex riding on his scooter.
Dex	Hey! Wait! Hold on a sec, Maylu, Let me walk you back home!
	Immediately cuts back to Lan and Maylu.
Maylu	[Laughs] See you later Lan.
	Cuts to a close-up of Lan being disappoint and lightly sighing.
Dex	[off-screen] No, No! I am almost there!
	Cuts to a scene at a park. Panning to the right where Lan is seen sitting on the stairs. Cuts to a close-up of Lan checking out his PET. Later cuts to his PET screen with his Navi shown on screen.
Male Voice	Right is operating and have strength. Recommendation: No more NetBattles.
	Cuts back to Lan, yawning and lays on the ground. Cuts to the view of the sky until a fish is shown on screen and cuts to Lan holding the fish that fell on him.
Lan	A Fish!?
	Cuts to Maysa with his bike behing him.
Maysa	You look as if surprised as a gopher in a stampeed.
	Cuts to a scene Lan talking to Maysa.
Lan	Come on, Maysa. You could've hit me in the head with this. Not in the mood, Okay?
	As Lan walks down stairs to give Maysa the fish.
Maysa	[Laugh] I hear you playing some lame game against Dex and lost.
	Lan gave the fish to Maysa while talking with him.
Lan	Not a game, Maysa. It was a NetBattle.
	Lan walks off-screen as Maysa is talking to him.
Maysa	Yeah, yeah, whatever. Nets are actually made for fishing you know.
	Cuts to Lan wishing his hands on a sink while talking to Maysa off-screen.
Lan	I said NetBattle but then again, you are the only person earth without his own PET.
	Cuts back to Maysa.
Maysa	I had a salmon as a pet when I was younger.
	Lan walks onscreen to Maysa as he was responding to him.
Lan	No! P-E-T, PErsonal Terminal.
	Lan grabs out his PET to show it to Maysa.
Lan	Here, check it!
Maysa	Oh! That kind of PET! My F-I-S-H is still more fun!
	Cutting to Lan with his PET.
Lan	Not as much fun as operating your very own virtual Net Warrior! And when we jack into the net, Our NetNavis face off in some sweet cyber battles. Come on, I got to admit that's pretty tight.
	While was Lan lecturing Maysa, the scene cuts to a clip of Lan's previous NetBattle with GutsMan. Then Cuts to Lan talking to Maysa while Maysa is cleaning his left ear.
Maysa	Yes indeed, very interesting. Know what will really snap your chaps? [Maysa pulls his finger out of his ear and blows something away from his finger] Fish don't have eye lids.
	Cuts to a scene of a fire truck with sirens on. Cuts back to Lan and Maysa looking at the fire trucks.
Maysa	Hmmm?
	Cuts to a scene of some people looking at a series of fire trucks on the road. Cuts back to Maysa and Lan.
Maysa	Looks like fire has been broken out.
Lan	Weird how ovens are catching on fire all over town.
Maysa	Speaking of ovens, I better go check mines. [Maysa grabs two fishes from the cooler on his bike and give them to Lan] Remember to eat lotsa calcium now. You hear?
	As Maysa was talking to Lan, He gets on his bike and rides off.
Lan	Okay, whatever you say.
	Cuts to close-up scene of Lan starts smiling. Then fades to a scene of Lan's house in evening and cuts to a scene of eaten fish on a plate.
Haruka	[off-screen] How scary, there has been over ten mysterious fires this week.
	Cuts to a scene of Lan talking to his mother.
Lan	I bet it has something to do with computer controls. I should check our oven.
Haruka	Don't worry about it. I had the dealer looking at it yesterday and he said everything is normal.
Lan	Lotsa weird stuff has been going on. [Lan gives his mom the bowl] Seconds please.
Haruka	Sure! Oh yeah, I almost forgot. A letter arrived for you from dad today. I left it on the counter.
	Cuts to a scene of a counter with the letter and a portrait of Lan, Haruka and Yuichiro.
Lan	[off-screen] Snail Mail? Not email?
Haruka	[off-screen] Sent all the way from Borneo.
Lan	Sounds far away. [Lan grabs the mail]
	Cuts to Lan is about to open his mail.
Lan	Dad travels the world. Having adventures and I am stuck going to school.
Haruka	Having adventures, being a scientist like your dad, you can grow up to be anything you want Lan. Just keep up- [her voice fades out]
Lan	Just keep up your school work. [Lan open up his mail] Dad says the same thing.
	Cuts to Lan pulls a disk for his PET
