Jupiter Stage is a stage that appeared in Mega Man V that has Jupiter as the boss.
Description[]
Being one of the second four stages, it is located on another world and will not regenerate Mega Man's weapon energy after completion. Jupiter's stage takes place inside and outside of a storm station that channels the planet's electricity. The main gimmick is similar to that of Star Man Stage, in that there is lower gravity thanks to being in space. However, this only applies to when Mega Man is outside and can see the stars in space; gravity is normal indoors. The lower gravity in space will also affect the Doncatch's attack, making the rocks fly up much higher. Halfway through the stage, slippery ice unique to this stage is introduced on the floors, which affect Mega Man's mobility on these surfaces by letting him slide around. This stage actually has two boss doors, and thus two branching paths. At the end of the 3rd outside section, there is a choice between going straight forward, or climbing a ladder. Going straight is the normal path and much shorter, while taking the ladder not only had more valuable goodies in a dead end, but opens up a new path when Mega Man leaves, letting him drop down.

Valuable pickups to look out for:
P-Chips: A total of 30 P-Chips (3 large and 3 small) can be found and collected within this stage.
Mini E-Tank: In plain sight, but is protected by a Biribaree.
- Proto Man: In the same room as the first Mini E-Tank, there are blocks on the right wall that only Break Dash can destroy. It leads to a dead end room with Proto Man, who plays his whistle before giving out either a big health energy, a 1-UP, an E-Tank, or a rare S-energy ball that immediately restores Mega Man's health and all of his weapon energy. He cannot be cheesed: if Mega Man leaves the room without collecting the item Proto Man throws out, he won't return and his item will be gone.
Mini E-Tank: After the 2nd outside room, there will eventually be a room full of pickups, including this one, walled off by blocks. Deep Digger is needed to clear the blocks from the top. Alternatively, Mega Man can uses an enhanced Mega Arm to grab them without having to clear the blocks.
Mini E-Tank: In plain sight after the first ice room. Simply jump to this pickup.
E-Tank and
1-UP: If Mega Man climbs up the ladder at the end of the 3rd outside section, these pickups will be walled off as Mega Man climbs the ladder. To get these pickups without simply grabbing them with an enhanced Mega Arm, the room above has blocks that Deep Digger can pull out, allowing Mega Man to drop onto one of the pickups from above and slide to the other one.
- Crystal: After climbing the ladder above and dropping down the new path (make sure to avoid the spikes), hold left to enter a single room. This crystal is separated by a 3-tile gap and buried under Deep Digger blocks. Mega Man will have to quickly get to the top and defeat the Doncatch before it covers the ladder, then pull out the blocks to land on the crystal. Alternatively, Mega Man can uses an enhanced Mega Arm to grab it without having to clear the blocks.
Trivia[]
- The last 2 rooms of Jupiter's stage before their respective boss doors are actually carbon copies of each other, right down to the enemy placements and tile setup. So unless Mega Man wants to end the stage quicker and doesn't care about the last batch of goodies, there is no reason to take the normal path at the end.
