Lamper (アカルカロウ Akarukarou) is an enemy from Mega Man 11. It is an owl robot with a gas lamp built into its abdominal region, originally designed to provide natural light to Torch Man's campsite at night. Lampers appear in Torch Man's stage and attack by flying around at the top of the screen, occasionally dropping fireballs straight down from their lamp. They are the only light sources in certain sections of the level, so if Mega Man destroys a Lamper there, the screen will go dark and Mega Man will have to use his weapons to light up the screen.
Lampers also appear during the Sparkey's battle when it loses its flames; if the player doesn't defeat Sparkey while its flaming body is extinguished, a Lamper will show up and drop a fireball onto Sparkey to reignite it.
