Description/background information of an enemy or boss.
Health Points:
Lists the amount of health an enemy has based on the amount of hits it takes from uncharged Mega Buster shots. Bosses with a health meter will always have an HP value of 28.
Attack Damage:
Attack damage Mega Man takes in bars of health from his life meter.
Special Weapon:
The Special Weapon that Mega Man can receive after defeating a Robot Master.
Weakness:
The Weapon that will cause the most damage against a boss in units (may also cause a weakness reaction, such as becoming stunned). For enemies, it will be the Weapon that takes the least amount of shots to destroy.
A Bunby Heli with a robotic body and tank treads. If the body is destroyed, the head will separate. If attacked with a strong enough weapon, the entire robot will be destroyed.
A newly revised Count Bomb that counts down from 3 upon stepping on it. An unnamed rectangular version has a countdown from 4 and will move at a preset distance before detonating.
A bee enemy from Slash Man's stage. A single Derusu Bee will appear outside its hive, but when the hive is attacked, many more Derusu Bees will appear. Burning the hive with Scorch Wheel will instantly destroy it and any Derusu Bees along with it.
A Japanese dragon-like enemy that appears in the junk piles in Junk Man's stage. It normally goes back and forth through the junk piles, but if Mega Man stands still for too long, a periscope (actually its eye) raises and the Dust Crusher lunges towards him. Its head is the only part that can be attacked in order for it to be destroyed.
A knight-like robot that appears only in Shade Man's stage. When Mega Man is spotted by one it will give chase. Under the full moon, it will temporarily transform into a wolf-like robot that attacks Mega Man by leaping at him.
A cockroach-like enemy that can climb ceilings and fly towards Mega Man. Mega Buster shots may be rendered useless since the enemy is very low to the ground.
A robot that walks on ceilings that drops icicles on Mega Man. The icicles can be helpful sometimes when placed over pits of spikes that Mega Man must traverse through.
A small robot that pops out from abysses to try to attack Mega Man from below. Some Kaminari Kogoros will slowly descend in a serpentine pattern; others will fire a lightning bolt before descending.
A revised version of a Metall, a robot with an indestructible helmet that negates any shots fired at it, and fires a the-projectile spread shot in return. Only vulnerable when it lifts up its helmet.
A modified Foot Holder that appears in Junk Man's stage. These indestructible flying platform robots do not attack on their own, but will fire projectile shots if a pile of junk lands on them.
A short enemy covered by a knight helmet, found only in Shade Man's stage, when it falls off an empty knight armor. It swings its blade like a boomerang.
An upgraded Gabyoall, a low-lying, spinning enemy that travels back and forth on a surface to damage and obstruct the player. Can only be damaged with Danger Wrap.
Small turtle drones that Gamerizer sends out to attack Mega Man with. Three of them appear and will either spin in their shells, burrow and pop out of the ground or merely hop.
A large robot modeled off of a stegosaurus, native to Slash Man's stage. It attacks by firing its dermal plates in an arc, withdrawing its head and tail, extending them out of opposite ends to face away from Mega Man, then firing homing missiles from its back. The weak point is its head.
A stack of tires with an orb-like enemy in them. It shoots off tires at Mega Man, and if all are spent or destroyed, the orb will hop at Mega Man until it is also destroyed.
A large polar bear-like sub-boss found in Freeze Man's stage. Three of them are encountered, though the last one can summon icicles to attack Mega Man.
A large crab-like sub-boss in Burst Man's stage and Wily Castle 3. Attacks with energy shots and bubbles. When its health gets low, it will attempt to ram into Mega Man.
A giant red truck that serves as the sub-boss of Turbo Man's stage. Does not attack on its own but will send out Sisi Rockets after Mega Man. Its eyes are its weakness.
A giant robot consisting of three pumpkin robots, with one inside the other, and the sub-boss of Shade Man's stage. Attacks by jumping on Mega Man and firing green projectile shots. Defeating it will reveal a different path depending on whether the outer pumpkin was defeated or the inner pumpkin.
Mega Man's brother, and the secret mini-boss of Shade Man's stage. After meeting up with him in Cloud Man and Turbo Man's stages, Proto Man challenges Mega Man to a fight.
A robot created by Dr. Wily to search for parts that could be used to create robots. His body is made from old robot parts and metallic pieces of garbage held together by electromagnetic forces.
A mysterious black robot that challenges Mega Man to battle in the introductory stage. The outcome of the battle is determined whether Mega Man takes enough damage or can hit Bass with more than eight Mega Buster shots.
A giant clown-like mid-boss of the Robot Museum stage. Attacks by attempting to crush Mega Man. Its head is the only weak point, but it must be dislodged from the body in order for it to be attacked.
A larger, upgraded version of Guts Man that Dr. Wily stole from the Robot Museum, and the main boss of the first Wily stage. Attacks by summoning large boulders to crush Mega Man, and can even use his large arm to throw him at the ceiling.
Mega Man's rival, and the first boss of the second Wily stage, now even stronger and more dangerous by fusing with Treble. Has the ability to fly and can now fire his own version of the Super Adapter.
A giant turtle-like boss of the second Wily stage. Attacks by breathing fire and attempts to slam its body at Mega Man. After attacking, Gamerizer will leave the screen for a moment and summon three little turtle-robots, Spotaros to attack.
A giant, flying Oni-masked boss of the third Wily stage, fought in a giant auto-scrolling room. Attacks with missiles, a laser beam and bombs. His missiles can serve as platforms for Mega Man to stand on and attack HannyaNED² up close. His eyes are its weakness.
The main protagonist of the Mega Man series. Attacks with buster shots, an energy wave called Sonic Boom, and sliding. His alternate color scheme is that of Proto Man's.
Mega Man's rival. Attacks with buster shots, air-dashing and a high kick. His alternate color scheme is that of his "Super Bass" form when fused with Treble.
