Mad Joey (マッド・ジョーイ Maddo Jōi)[1] is the pilot of the REX-2000 in Mega Man X3. He is a cyclopean Reploid that resembles a purple Rideroid G without spiked ears.

Mad Joey pilots the REX-2000 as the sub-boss of Doppler Stage A, in a room where a machine slowly drops a spiked ceiling to crush the player. If the player takes too long to defeat the REX-2000, the ceiling may fall so low that it kills Mad Joey, leaving the armor inoperable until it is destroyed by the ceiling too.
Mega Man X DiVE[]
Mad Joeys, alongside Guardroids, appear as the base Reploid enemies in Mega Man X DiVE, wielding a variety of weapons. There are many design variants of Mad Joey, appearing with different outfits in some events:
