This page is about the NetNavi MagicMan.EXE. To see information on his Robot Master counterpart, see Magic Man.

MagicMan.EXE is a NetNavi operated by Yahoot, and is one of WWW's Navis.

Whereas his Robot Master counterpart drew upon stage magicians for his look, MagicMan is modeled after the more "classical" wizard appearance and is garbed with a blue pointed hat and robe. He also has a moderate-length wizard style beard. His arms have red jewels an the ends instead of hands to act as a conduit for his attacks. The book on his back is a Tome of Cheating.[1]

MagicMan is known to speak in rhymes.

Game History

Mega Man Battle Network

In the WWW base, he is the last obstacle faced by MegaMan before he confronts the Life Virus. The ensuing fight between both Navis leaves MegaMan victorious. However, to prevent MegaMan from reaching the Life Virus before its completed formation, Lord Wily gives Yahoot a piece of the Life Virus's data. The data reboots MagicMan and increases his strength exponentially. MagicMan fires a "Life Magic" attack at the unsuspecting MegaMan which critically damages MegaMan, requiring the Hub.BAT to be installed to save him. ProtoMan swiftly deletes MagicMan in a failed attempt to save MegaMan from the attack.

Anime History

MegaMan NT Warrior

MagicMan hypnotizes everyone watching Yahoot's yoga program (basically everyone except Lan Hikari and Mayl Sakurai) into thinking that they are animals. Lan eventually finds Yahoot and MagicMan at the TV station. MegaMan cannot stand up to his attacks, and he unleashes his most powerful attack, the magic fire. ProtoMan reflects this, and he is defeated. He later enters into the N1 Grand Prix, where he easily counters all of MegaMan's attacks only to be narrowly defeated by an incomplete Program Advance launched by MegaMan. Unusually, in the English dub, MagicMan talks in rhymes, while in the Japanese dub he speaks much similar to Glyde.EXE, very politely.

MagicMan's emblem

MagicMan starts the battle with two special panels. These panels are where he summons his viruses from, and they cannot be stolen.

  • Magic Fire: MagicMan fires a slow-moving flame down his row.
  • Virus Summon: MagicMan disappears for a while, and reappears with two viruses summoned to his side of the field. Defeating MagicMan will immediately delete any remaining viruses.
