Magnet Man's Stage is a stage debuting in Mega Man 3 that has Magnet Man as the boss. It also appears in Mega Man II.

Appearances[]

Magnet Man's Stage takes place inside a magnetic generator facility with purple batteries in the background, though the starting area of the stage is actually outside to a pink sunset. This is also one of the 3 Robot Master stages where the player has to spar with Proto Man in a mid-boss fight. When the player gets inside, the stage brings on a gimmick unique to the stage. There are machines that constantly generate a magnetic force, pulling the player towards them if they are level with them. This stage also features Appearing Blocks, which get combined with the magnets to create some difficult challenge. However, with proper platforming, most of the danger can be sidestepped.

Magnet Man's Stage in the GB demake still takes place in the magnetic generator facility. The stage is structured nearly in the same way as its NES counterpart. Magnetic machines return and are unique to this stage. Appearing Blocks also make their first appearance in the game here (along with Top Man's Stage).

Enemies[]

The enemies in Magnet Man's stage in Mega Man II are the same, except that Proto Man doesn't appear, while Metall DX does.

Valuable pickups to look out for:

  • ETankGB E-Tank: Is guarded by the 1st New Shotman, and the player must slide through a gap and claim it.
  • ETankGB E-Tank: Go down after the last New Shotman for a lot of goodies, including this one. You will have to fight that enemy again, however.
