Making Mega Man: Code Legend, known as Make Rockman: Shijō Saidai no Programming (メイクロックマン 史上最大のプログラミング "Make Rockman: World's Greatest Programming) in Japan, is a programming learning kit that is a collaboration between the Japanese companies Capcom, Artec (a manufacturer of educational toys that is better known for its Artec Blocks, small blocks that can be combined and used to form simple robots), and Gakken. The kit became available for pre-order on September 7, 2020 on the Japanese crowdfunding site Makuake, being available for 42 days. Its crowdfunding is mainly to decide its final price, giving a discount to up to 20%, passing the target goal in less than an hour.[1] It was released on November 5, 2020.[2] On April 2021 it was announced that the kit will be released in English.[3]

The Making Mega Man kit teaches how to program a simple Mega Man game. It includes a book by Gakken with over 200 pages that teaches how to program games using Scratch 3.0 and the ArtecRobo 2.0 blocks to form a motion controller simulating the Mega Buster. The instruction book is also sold separately.[2] The controller can be arranged to use other two characters: "Proto Strike" mode works like a gun and shield to control Blues, and configuring it as a control stick enables Dr. Wily (as the Alien) on the "Rockman vs. Dr. Wily" mode. Two owners of the kit can compete in the Rockman vs. Dr. Wily mode.
