Mechakkero (メカッケロ Mekakkero) is a hopping enemy in Mega Man 3. It is a model change of the pest control robot Kamadoma.[1] Sometimes they appear near platforms over large gaps. One shot from the Mega Buster is enough to defeat them, but they are hard to hit due to their small size, especially while on the ground. Weapons like Search Snake and Shadow Blade can defeat them easier. They appear in Top Man's, Shadow Man's and Gemini Man's stages in Mega Man 3, II and III, and in the third Wily Tower stage in Mega Man: The Wily Wars.
Kerone[]
Kerone (ケローン Kerōn) is an upgraded version of the Mechakkero in Mega Man 7. They are slightly larger and different in design from the original, but they attack in exactly the same way as Mechakkero by jumping, plus their modus operandi is the same. They appear in Burst Man's and Slash Man's stages, plus the second section of Wily Castle. They are also released by the giant frog used by Shadow Man and one of Stone Man's attacks in Mega Man 2: The Power Fighters. They were going to reappear in Mega Man: The Power Battle, but were cut from the game.
Other media[]
A Mechakkero appeared on the Variant Cover of Mega Man #40 and in the Rockman World 2 manga.
